Great song! Bought "This Year's Model" when it first came out (with misprinted sleeve). I played it God knows how many times...Pete Thomas proves you don't need a kit the size of Madagascar to play rock n roll. Costello's lyrics are just outstanding.

Nice, quiet, funny, considerate. I saw him first late one Saturday night on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert some 32 years ago and have been a believer ever since. And that comment about "oozes sex appeal?" I'm so with ya.

I saw him at Long Beach Arena Jan. '79, and he was great. I got to meet him backstage at a Neil Young concert at Irvine Meadows when he was special guest in 2003. He was really cool. I've seen him four times and that show was his best. Two of the best five concerts I've seen were him. He's a genius.
