Western societies already have equality -equality under the law. Changing the rules around because unequal outcomes occur is not equality.

This approach of changing the rules of the game because someone is behind someone else on the gameboard is often referred to by the misnomer "social justice" and the countries in Western Europe who have gone down that path are far behind the US in long term sustainability and survivability.

problems.. ehm read any elementary school history book and read from 1900 to now and that will give you an idea of inequality in modern history and the problems it created.
