Conspiracy theorists like to refer only to the crash of Armstrong as very typical outcome of an LLRV flight. Which is nonsense; the typical outcome was a safe landing.
I like all the EDITS. You know WHY they are there? Because there isn't ONE documented filing of a complete flight that's why. It's a scam people as was the LEM.

I believe three were lost in total. But it was a research vehicle used to develop and test the LM avionics.
Armstrong and the others that flew it were test pilots and it was part of their job to test systems to their limit.
