I actually put in solar to cover the electricity of the car and my home. The electricy per mile is cheaper than gas per mile though by quite a bit.

The engineering, design and layout is truly first rate, the car is very nicely done. Congratz! Your work is a real inspiration for others. The Big 3 could have been making similiar cars for the past 10-20 yrs, instead they held us hostage & bankrupted the world thru oil-industry monopoly, dirty politics & one perpetual-war scam after another. 'Bout time for people revolution.

Ok. I just stubbled across your blog and I am amazed at what you have done. I had a 2005 S2K that I loved driving but had to sell with only 3,000 miles on it. Moved across the country. I know, bummer huh? Anyway, very cool stuff you've done. Thanks for sharing.
