  • This and Seymour made me cry forever...

  • my my brother went missing 5 years ago :..( i am going to name my son after him

  • I don't even have any siblings, and this makes me cry.

  • Why is it all the episodes that have a focus on Fry have amazing emotional depth? Because Fry is a character that is a blessing to the world of animation.

  • cause fry does have a tragic story to the character. He was taken before his time. On purpose by leela's pet. 1000 years to the future where all that he knew is gone and he'll never see them again and being a stranger in a whole new world. :(

  • i can't believe yancy is the voice of that yellow cheese

  • now i am sad

  • ...and hearing 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' would never be the same again.

  • Yancy's voice = Spongebob's voice...omg.

  • Don't cry.

    Don't fucking cry.

    DON'T

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • I'll admit, this episode made me shed some tears. There is something about the bond between brothers.

  • ಥ_ಥ

  • Must. Resist. Manly. Tears.

  • "The Luck of the Fryish" and Jurassic Bark" are the two most powerful Futurama episodes that are reminders how fleeting life really is.

  • @SirReal1958 Damn straight!

  • I love how Bender just ruins the moment lol. Beautiful episode. : )

  • @laurazwags Hey, it wouldn't be Bender otherwise ;).

  • @squirrelmind Jurassic Bark is the episode that makes me cry ;____;

  • Careing for the people who past away ( friend, family who we will never forget), this episode does it, I miss you grampa and i will never foget the lessons you learnd me ;'(

  • futurama is the only show that makes me laugh so hard but gives me me goosebumps because it has such a good story

  • Is that Tom Kenny?

  • @TheUntouchableEric yeah it is, you can totally tell by the voice

  • @Braaainns Yeah I knew that just making sure. Anyways this is still sad. My eyes are tearing now.

  • such a sad ep. )':

  • this gave me goose bumps. i started tearing

  • Futurama is still good to this day. I know it has some episodes that were rather mediocre, but you've got to admit that they've still got the greatest writers on the show.

  • So...many...onions..

  • This episode made me cry so much. Makes you think what will you do if brother or sister was missing. My favorite episode.

  • "Futurama! That show sucks!"

Quote from my parents. I think I know why...*sobs*

  • @TehNerdQueen haha my mom doesnt get it either

  • This is why futurama sucks now, its full of all those "drawn together" creators and they screwed up the show.

I liked futurama as a family show instead of an adult show.

  • @Wurmo Dude, those guys were writing Futurama before they went and started writhing for Drawn Together.

  • @syllingjr

No, most of the writers from drawn together now work on the comedy central verson of futurama, only a handfull of the people who originally worked on it are still there, because the other people work with fox.

  • @Wurmo Yeah cause Fry having sex with his own grandmother is suitable theme for family viewing

  • @BennettChainmail

That episode is rated pg, look it up. Boo yah you just got owned. Blocked

  • @Wurmo Well, aren't you the modern day Mary Whitehouse. I don't really care for the rating or if I got owned. In the UK all Futurama seasons are rated 12, even the oh so adult newer series. The fact is, Futurama has always had adult themes, regardless of the rating, so your fragile mind is just going to have to get used to it

  • this was an awesome ep my favourite

  • It's ironic how Fry never suspected to be his nephew, yet this scene made me relize to keep on loving my younger brother forever, which there been times we fight. But in the end, we make up for it. So far I get goosebumps for watching this, and the feeling of sadness.

  • I also cried.

  • This Episode and the Jurassic Bark Episode were both Sad Episodes!

  • this vid made me cry

  • im sad seymour dies this year

  • great episode . this scene is a such a tearjerker.

  • Futurama = Perfect.

  • The Seymour episode makes people who have a pet cry.

The Baby Bender/Hermes episode makes people who have kids cry.

The Luck of The Fryrish makes people with siblings cry.

    Futurama has so much heart.

  • Awesome, the baby is the first man on Mars right?

  • I first watched this 6 years and it still makes me cry:(:(:(:(

  • That feel. :c

  • :'(

  • never forget, futurama.

  • I feel stupid,I saw this episode for like the 12th time the other day and JUST realized that the successful phillip j fry was his nephew.

    I love this episode,so touching

  • this really made me cry :( just like the episode where you see seymour waiting for 12 years :(

  • Not gonna cry...not gonna cry...

  • what episode is this.

  • @M3TalK3ing luck of the fryish

  • @M3TalK3ing The title of the Youtube video, "Luck of the Fryrish" this is the climax of the episode.

  • Aww it tears me up so much and fry thought his brother was a jerk but really he was just being a good brother.

  • This guy does spongebob:) this is what it would be if spongebob hits puberty

  • did you really had to keep the part bender said

  • 27 pessoas não tem coração, nem sentimentos.

  • Sempre choro nessa parte.

Não importa quantas vezes eu assista (ou ouça).

    É muito triste.

  • i don't watch futurama much but i almost cried at this part. what a great episode

  • I'm watching this episode right now! It's my favorite :')

  • this episode brought tears to my eyes.... : )

  • this one and the one with seymour the dog are the saddest episodes =(

  • @squirrelmind this one and the one with fry's dog make me cry everytime I watch them

  • by far the best futurama episode ive ever seen ....

  • This and Seymour dying were the two most tear-worthy moments on this show. This one really got me not just because Fry was emotional about Phillip J. Fry II's true identity but Leela's quote did, too.

"Uh, Bender? I think Fry needs a moment alone."

  • I remember i was watching this episode in the middle of the night, then this part came up and i started thinking about my siblings.I shed a few manly tears

  • Man I cried watching this episode, sad

  • THISWAS THE FIRST FUTURAMA IVE EVER WATCHED WHERE I CRYED OMG WTF HOW CAN FUTRAMA OF ALL THINGS MAKE ME CRY!

  • just watched this. Cried like a baby

  • @pantalonesycamisas i'm fuckin' cryin' right now..

  • what a sad and great episode

  • PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE A EPISODE WHERE FRY GOES BACK TO 1999/2000

  • @gluetube64 they did. The First movie where he lives in the past for ten years.

  • @Nintendoga thanks ill watch it now

  • i dont have a brother, but i feel like fry...

  • I can't listen to that song by Simple Minds without thinking of this episode.

  • best episode

  • The whole concept that his big brother truly loved him, eats at me.. I hope my little brother knows I love him. :(

  • This episodes makes me cry. My nephew's name is my middle name. My brother-in-law and sister liked the name before but it also is kind of after me.

  • best part of it is the end scene where the simple minds play. i cried two fuckin days eventhough i'm kinda hard guy

  • Ich weon seit 5min deswegen :/

  • Bender! What the hell?!

  • fucking hell stop making me cry, and the music fits so well. Can someone find the name of this music and tell me the name please?

  • DONT YOU FORGET ABOUT ME NO NO

  • This part made me cry too, and after that scene when I heard "Don't You (Forget About Me)" shit dude, I made a pool of tears in my room T_T

  • if i ever have a son im gonna name him Philip J. Fry or Yantzie

  • @Yervand117 not yantzie, please, he'd get bullied like you wouldn't believe.

  • @Rougamaru ill take the chance xD

  • I wish Futurama didnt end :(

It was my favorite tv show and it still is :(

  • @Yervand117 well it is still ongoing. Season 7 will launch next year and have 26 episodes.

  • Comment removed

  • @NorthernerMatty123 nope, those aren't great moments for "humans".

  • My name is Phillip J!

  • WHEN IS THIS SHOW COMING BACK?

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME BACK LAST YEAR!

  • @zeldafanful june of 2012

  • @zeldafanful It's been back since 2010 on comedy central.

  • this and the dog episode are really sad

  • you want me to smack up the corpse a little?

  • Its really too bad this show conformed to south park and family guy with the new season. the old episodes had this kind of power behind them.

  • This is something you would never expect from a comedy, crying because it's sad, not funny. Bravo, Futurama, you built up my opinion about this character just enough for me to be saddened by the truth of it all. That is excellent story writing.

  • the saddest and greatest futurama episode. i cried when i watched it.

  • ಥ﹏ಥ

  • I cried during this part so sad :(((((((

  • This is one of the only times I've ever been touched by a fictional film.

The other was when I watched the second Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Damn you, Johnny Depp.....You stole my purity.

  • The awkward moment when you watch this with your older brother and you start crying...

  • This episode was one of the saddest I want to cry ... he never even got to say bye...

  • Comment removed

  • FUCKING BENDER!

  • such a sweet moment, and Bender comes in and kills it!

  • This was the moment that cemented this episode as one of my all-time favorites...

  • its ok i just have something in both my eyes

  • @BountyHunter274 both are excellent idea's.

*sigh* too bad they'd never put that much into it.

  • you know, the saddest thing in the series,

is that fry never really got to make peace

    with everyone he left behind.

I always kept hoping they'd get to temporarily

go back in time so fry could meet his family

one last time, to explain to them,

and most importantly, to say goodbye.

would have made a touching final episode.

  • @Rougamaru

They're having another season renewed. Maybe it'll happen then ;).

  • @coolaid77ify oh I seriously doubt it...... >.>

  • @Rougamaru

    Hope springs eternal.

  • @coolaid77ify really? I thought he could only take a few hits!

  • @Rougamaru That's...actually not a bad idea. That would be the perfect way to end the series officially.

  • @Bugsy99 thanks man. happy holidays.

  • @Rougamaru Thanks! :D You too!

  • @Rougamaru Didn't he get to do that in Bender's Big Score?

  • @urtv1 to be honest, untill bountyhunter274 mentioned it,

I'd never even heard of that film. I don't watch much TV anymore.

  • @Rougamaru You should be a writer for Futurama.

  • @CommanderThunderush um, thank you! ^_^

I actually am a writer, it's a passion for me.

  • @Rougamaru I recently became one for my own web projects. It's interesting work.

  • @CommanderThunderush yeah, doesn't really pay the bills though.

seriously, you gotta be some low talent sensationalist to be a

financially successfull writer these days. it's a damned shame.

ah well, I'm moving to japan as soon as I can anyways.

  • @Rougamaru Maybe someday we'll get some skilled writers back in the workforce. It'll work out in the end.

  • @CommanderThunderush I don't have enough faith in america to buy into that.

but, I do hope it happen's, after all, it would be pretty cool.

now if you'll excuse me, I need to go eat a moose.

(by the way, ever seen fry's badassed mustache?)

  • @Rougamaru I meant that some people are a bit more tenacious than others. I've got big plans of my own. We just go about our lives and damn the odds when they start to annoy us.

    (yeah, saw the mustache once)

  • @CommanderThunderush I don't damn the odds, too religious for my tastes,

instead, I screw the rules, simply because, I have blue hair and lot's of money.

(with that badassed mustache, brother looked like burt reynolds!)

  • @Rougamaru Screw the rules, I have money! I spy a TV Trope! But yeah, nice outlook.

  • @CommanderThunderush I have lot's of money AND blue hair! XD

  • @Rougamaru meh. fry never really cared for his parents back before he was frozen. that was why he "woohoo'd" when he came to the future.

  • @j1495bmx I'm not entirely sure about that one dude.

he had issues, sure, but for the most part, well, it seems like he'd

be niagra falls if he met his family again, ya know?

  • @Rougamaru Actually one of my favorite parts of Bender's Big Score was that it shows him living his life and eating dinner with his mom and dad and continuing with his brother. Besides i think fry sure got a little sad sometimes but for the most part was too stupid to really care. he sorta just went on living his life happily in the future plus his endless pursuit for leela occupied his time.

  • @Originalchubbz77 exactly. he was too dense for it to really hit him.

and yet, at the same time, you know he missed them.

he's always the happy idiot with aheart of gold, ya know?

I've gotta find benders big score.

I appearently missed something interesting there.

  • @Rougamaru The ending of the latest movie should have been the ending. The new series sucks ass so hard. Matt Greonin had to pull another Simpsons again.

  • @SCOTTpilgrimist12 well, what did we expect?

I mean, he tried to end that series for a reason you know.

only reason he started it again was money issues, appearently.

  • @SCOTTpilgrimist12 Many of the new episodes are pretty damn great. The one with Bender and Hermes is practically Luck of the Fryrish / Jurassic Bark levels of good. Pretty much all of the episodes have gotten amazing reviews too whereas the newer Simpsons ones get hacked down. So yeah, not really :P

  • @Rougamaru did you not see the episodes about the time code?!? he lives in his old home for awhile and then above penuccis

  • @shawzie1916 I stopped watching TV after toonami was killed.

basically, I catch USA's line up, and some nickelodeon goodness,

but that's basically it. I don't have much time for TV anyways.

  • @Rougamaru then watch the episodes online...

  • @shawzie1916 meh, maybe I will, maybe I won't, as I said, I'm too busy.

  • episode?

  • @N64WEEGEE Read the title

  • I cried so Fucin bad but not as much as Seymour

  • I'M CRYING.

  • You can picture the little picture of the space ship with the drawing of Fry on it - until the end.

  • This episode makes me fucking cry...every goddamn time.

  • episode made me freaking bawl

  • God, this episode made my cry like a baby. :P

  • HA! bender and his comic relief :P

  • My dad's name is Phillip, and whenever I watch this, I cry so hard.

  • @bobble3361 lol fag

  • Said "cousin", meant "brother".

  • Amazing. I think what makes this scene so emotional is that it takes what we know and expect from Yancy, being the always mean cousin, and adds a completely unexpected layer of complexity. It shows Fry that things are not black and white, that Yancy didn't hate him and he wasn't an enemy. Doing these kinds of things with the characters, first describing them as basic stereotypes and giving them some unexpected human traits, is something "Futurama" was able to carry out exceptionally well.

  • @jal19905 bravo. good speech

  • @jal19905 Actually Yancy was Fry's big brother. he wasn't always mean but he did do a lot of things big brother's do to younger brother's.

  • This scene was suprisingly strong in emotional sense

  • Best episode ever.

  • what episode is this, i thought i had seen all the episodes but obviously i was wrong

  • @smokiestaaa2

Luck of the Fryrish. You really missed a good one. :)

  • @Robotgangsta saw it a little while ago glad i saw it

  • this is crazy

  • awww it made me cry too :')

  • unconditional brotherly love...='(

  • I'm not gonna lie, Futurama is one of the only shows on Earth that can make me cry.

  • lmao fucking bender

    <3
