Guerlain is NOT first to put lipstick in tubes. i wont be buying anything from some one that lie so blatantly or assume that no body know history of cosmetics.

Lana, the primer that you were asking me about by Guerlain is the Meteorites one not the 24K Gold one that she was showing you. She skipped right over the Meteorites one during the demo. The same thing happen to me when I went to the Guerlain boutique. They push the 24K gold primer because it's more expensive. Next time you go back swatch the Meteorites one and you will be sold. It feels so nice on the skin and gives it a subtle glow as opposed to the high shine of the 24K gold one. xoxo Deb
I dont get Chanel. Like the dress, the clean simple lines , Im 18, and if I had the money I would buy that and wear it till i was 118, but the suits...They're so matronly... The ornamentation is just so over the top. I would wear it nor let my mother who is 50wear it. The detail are beautiful on their own yes, but it just seems like they go overboard on it. Id rather just spend the money and have a custom suit made that was plain and simple.

Love both shopping videos. We don't have any high end stores in my area - not that I could afford to shop them anyway! I love beautiful things though and it's a lot of fun to look at them. Fess up, Lana and tell us how much you really spent when you went back and bought all the gorgeous things! I would love to see a haul video of what you really ended up with. Like others, I may not afford a Chanel bag but I can treat myself to the makeup and perfumes!
What fun! That was like watching Lana's "shark cam" closing in on beautiful items. You looked gorgeous. It's so nice to see someone take time to dress to go out to the mall. Sweats and flip flops are great at home but some times people get lazy with their appearance.

I have a hard time "getting it" these days with the "power" brands.I understand and appreciate fine things. I have an eye for beauty and understand why any woman would want to look as nice as possible, but some brands have just far surpassed the giggle test with me. It has taken many years to get where we are today...charging thousands of dollars, literally, for items worth a fraction of the cost. I can't understand paying the price for the brand. Just gone too far for me.
I would never watched a vid this long :D Still, I break it up and watch it over 2 parts, because the movements of the vid makes it kinda hard for me. But I totally enjoyed it, which is why I want to watch all of it. I can't afford any of these things right now and I would never dare walk into any of these designer boutiques. I think the Chanel clothing is very classy, very beautifully detailed, but I just don't get the style at all. I don't know if I would wear those dresses being 32 years old..they just look a little matronly in my opinion. I don't know what it is. I know Chanel is very high end, very classy, but there's something marmish about it. Oh well, to each his own I guess. You looked absolutely stunning, btw, Lana!
@kamjo79 Chanel is very classic. You could buy it and wear it at age 32 and it will still be in style and classy when you are 52 and beyond. I was wearing a white Chanel in this video.
Chanel is very understated yet feminine. Chanel doesn't show cleavage or slits up the skirts. A classic Chanel is one to last forever and is more of an investment.
But you're right, it like so many other things in life, it's not for everyone. It's all a matter of personal taste. Hugs~
@lanaindiana I can definitely see the style lasting for years and years. I guess it's one of those things you have to try on to understand. Come to think of it, seeing a woman wearing Chanel never disappoints so maybe it's the just way it looks on the hanger. I see the appeal of the fabrics, the lace, the details...definitely. When I was a kid, no one did anything nice for me EVER. As a single mom of two boys I taught them "You say Thank You for good deeds and someone making the effort for you." I had to lead by example. I will do anything for anyone and a simple Thank You means the world to me so I try to pass it on. Besides, it costs nothing but the payoff is great.

I want the Guerlain Four Seasons Bronzer SO badly--so jealous that you got to look at and test it! (They don't have a store or counter anywhere near me.) Love both shopping videos. We don't have any high end stores in my area - not that I could afford to shop them anyway! I love beautiful things though and it's a lot of fun to look at them. Fess up, Lana and tell us how much you really spent when you went back and bought all the gorgeous things! I would love to see a haul video of what you really ended up with. Like others, I may not afford a Chanel bag but I can treat myself to the makeup and perfumes!

What fun! That was like watching Lana's "shark cam" closing in on beautiful items. You looked gorgeous. It's so nice to see someone take time to dress to go out to the mall. Sweats and flip flops are great at home but some times people get lazy with their appearance.

I have a hard time "getting it" these days with the "power" brands.I understand and appreciate fine things. I have an eye for beauty and understand why any woman would want to look as nice as possible, but some brands have just far surpassed the giggle test with me. It has taken many years to get where we are today...charging thousands of dollars, literally, for items worth a fraction of the cost. I can't understand paying the price for the brand. Just gone too far for me.

I think the Chanel clothing is very classy, very beautifully detailed, but I just don't get the style at all. I don't know if I would wear those dresses being 32 years old..they just look a little matronly in my opinion. I don't know what it is. I know Chanel is very high end, very classy, but there's something marmish about it. Oh well, to each his own I guess. You looked absolutely stunning, btw, Lana!

@kamjo79 Chanel is very classic. You could buy it and wear it at age 32 and it will still be in style and classy when you are 52 and beyond. I was wearing a white Chanel in this video.
Chanel is very understated yet feminine. Chanel doesn't show cleavage or slits up the skirts. A classic Chanel is one to last forever and is more of an investment.
But you're right, it like so many other things in life, it's not for everyone. It's all a matter of personal taste. Hugs~

Come to think of it, seeing a woman wearing Chanel never disappoints so maybe it's the just way it looks on the hanger. I see the appeal of the fabrics, the lace, the details...definitely. But who am I to judge? I'm wearing Garfield pajama pants at the moment. :(

When I was a kid, no one did anything nice for me EVER. As a single mom of two boys I taught them "You say Thank You for good deeds and someone making the effort for you." I had to lead by example. I will do anything for anyone and a simple Thank You means the world to me so I try to pass it on. Besides, it costs nothing but the payoff is great.
