I love Bjork music, I buyed every album they release, etc. But hey, she's an old nanny about technology. The industry sell it like innovation and revolutionary, but he isn't. This 'visualization pack' is very poor, and conceptually wrong about biophilia and nature. This has nothing to do with nature, just because the visualization programers never gets inspired particularlly on that. This a big bluff, take a couple of old visual apps, and sell it like the new one thing. A very apple attitude.

When I heard: apps to every song, I thought: "what a stupid idea". But this actually seems pretty cool. With all this opportunity to edit the songs, does listening to her version of the album even matter? Or does it even exist? I'm lost. I don't have an iPhone.

@PorroFirst There is an album, you can download it or buy the physical album. It's worth it IMO. You just have more opportunities to hear different combinations and alter them to your liking with the apps. I have the physical album (bought the limited special edition), and I love it.

@la2atl President mmm, they are just tryin to sell ipads. Cause the visualizations are in general terms pretty ugly, and the Malinowski app (the only serius appliance) is there since 1985. And free for windows free since the 90s. This is a giant bluff, they are saying: Hey, buy my CZ Spectrum like new stuff.

@timikm I haven't heard that before. Solstice appears as having music written by Björk and lyrics are a poem Icelandic poet Sjón published on a magazine months or years ago.

I don't find the apps to be either groundbreaking or innovative, I find the whole thing very gimmicky, pretentious and stupid. The kind of thing that I would buy, fool around with it for a bit and then just dump it and never use it again, I pre-ordered the CD and that's as far as I'll go with Biophilia.

@deanriam I think I'd play it for a long time. It depends on whether you are entertained or not by these games, I find them to be usable for a long time if you are creative enough.

But nothing must work for everyone, and that's fine. I'm happy you can at least enjoy the CD.
