  • I wish the cops were like that here in the U.S.!..........no.....I'm just kidding. It would be awesome if they had the show Cops in Taiwan. If they did, I'm sure they would try to do their job because they are being filmed and showed to the public. What is the crime rate like in Taiwan?

  • When our car was stolen in taiwan the police helped us find it :D

  • This is actually a really good way to make a video blog. Out on the streets and riding around telling your story,

  • bro your videos are like a daily thing for me now hahah i love them.

  • Taiwanese cops are unrealiable and corrupt depending on where you live in Taiwan. Taipei has the best standard in terms of police, hospital, transportation, services, and etc so maybe you should live there.

  • Couldnt agree more mate. There are so many asshole cops out there. I used to be so nieve as to think most were nice honest people who want to help, but I found out to my disgust that this is not the case.

  • i find it funny that the police watch your channel so closely so they can catch you breaking laws, and they won't do anything about an obvious traffic violation

  • u r bored to film the video.

  • dude why are you in a dif country?

  • @squiggy11892 watch his video Why Taiwan

he'll tell you why he moved there

  • there are bad cops everywhere, its just that in some places they have more freedom to abuse of their powers.

  • What size ninja do you ride?

  • you spoke as if those were your last words... why didn't you commit suicide? I would have given thumbs up!

  • Who remembers Chen Chin-hsing? Yea the police handled that situation well. NOT!

  • dude go to some club or some shet

  • It pays to run in the States too. I got rearended on my motorcycle at an intersection and the bitch just inched her way around my downed bike then took off fullspeed while dragging a witness. The witness fell, narrowly missing being run over. I remembered her plates too. Had the cops went to her house right away, she would have got a dui for sure and I would have got my stuff covered. It took the cops and lawyers over a year to figure it all out. I'd rather of just tire ironed her car.

  • @Thejdogitsmorestreet you still can tire iron her car. what are you waiting for?

  • my mom hit a motorbike with a car and the person fell, we waited a few minutes and the cops came, they talked a little and let my mom go, they said it wasn't her fault because the motorbike driver is an old lady and was driving too close to the car lane. so it ended up like we hit someone and got away with it.....the cops are so nice in taiwan haha

  • 你雞雞聒聒的在說啥小

  • The two opposite cops, thats a pretty funny story

  • How come you live in Taiwan?

  • no wonder taiwan is fucked up, the police do fuck all,

  • are the police in taiwan more lenient than one in the u.s.? because in your vids, i've noticed that the bikers, and scooter riders can pass outside or inside on double lines, and such. lol

  • Don't feel like talking today........... *starts rambling*

  • who do you think you are? a police or what? what do you want to say? I feel you just like a stupid guy,

  • YOu have better to watch up your speed too, you are too fast, becaureful the police will give you red ticket.

  • Here in Finland traffic officials are very strict. It's also isn't just the police it's the drivers themselves who tend to be careful and rule-obedient.

I don't know how it works in Taiwan but in Finland it's quite illegal to drive without insurance and if done, will result in one losing one's licence for a long time and possibly having to serve some time in jail.

  • @Kaarle15 finland is a good country though, the laws are strict, crime is low, fuck my country, Britain, the cops are pussies, they can't do shit to stop teenagers doing anything, the cops don't carry weapons all they have is maise and whip out batons, plus the punishments in britain are shit, you can seriously do like 3 years for murder

  • mordeth , come back to the uk when i pass my full bike liscence, i'll take a ride wit you somtime hahaha, i miss all this crap when im riding, or maybe its just boring here,

  • It's obvious those of you who haven't lived in Taiwan want to stray away from being stereotypical, but honestly: Taiwanese police are ill-trained and unmotivated.

  • stupid outcast, stay masturbating in your dirty small room. taiwanese police will check the video and arrest all those who post this kind of stupid clips, brainless pig.

  • what bike is that?

  • Some of the cops ARE corrupt... not all though

  • Some of the cops ARE corrupt... not all though

  • i wanna go to tiwan lol

  • you drive very fast and very close to parked cars. be careful. one day one of the parked cars is gonna open the door in front of you.

    be careful =)

  • law sucks over there... seems like the perfect place for criminals.. lol

  • @jmoyet Even though there are almost no gangs in Taiwan?

  • Hey. You get pretty agitated about someone else's situation. He didn't say that he did the right thing. He was just talking about events in his life that contributed to him moving to Taiwan. Reading Comprehension; develop it.

  • lol thats some screw up cops

  • Comment removed

  • I've been watching a lot of mordeth's videos today and I have to say, very interesting and often hilarious.

    5/5

  • That second story about the cops trying to drive away was brilliant. I'm a new follower of your videos and they're all excellent.

  • should have used ninja rocks on the window

  • for some reason i love watching ur vids cause i feel like im right there on another bike

  • @magnumsrt10 Me to

  • hey dude its better then chinese police in places like bejing. they kill protesters and when people's house gets domolish to build new buildings the police aids the demolishing. even citizen are fighting back

  • i saw a cop pulling over some guy and make him buy a pack of cigarette in taiwan

  • in bulgaria the normal ticket for speeding is 2 teas without sugar that cost 32 leva(16 euro)

  • wth? 8 dollar tea? that suck balls

  • yep the cops are in somekind of deal with the seller

  • why?

    lol

  • Lukkely thay is not how it works in my country Denmark. I am a new cop, and if there is sometrhing we hate it is drunk drivers! The problem is, that it is almost imposible to prove that some one has been drinking and driving, if the "driver" is not cought in his car. If he gets home, then he can claim that he started drinking after he got home, maybe because of the hit and run. So you have to catch him, or its a waste of time! I any case we would go to his house and arest him anyway:-)

  • Thats kinda how it works here in the U.S, cops would possibly go to his home an question him/her till she slipped up an admitted it. then probably here in Florida, slam her on the ground an shoot her with the stun gun.lol theese cops an there stun guns, they get carried away easy

  • You got it wrong. It's not a "few bad cops" it's the vast majority. Telling me not to rag on them is about as smart as saying don't rag on rapists because there is probably a few of them that were forced into the life or some shit. And the reason stereotypes become stereotypes....is because MOST of the time....they are true.

  • Well said.

  • ok my bad..........if the majority are bad cops then yea i guess its safe to be stereotypical...you are absolutely correct.......my bad

  • @13mordeth I can agree with everything else but "stereotypes become stereotypes" part is definitely not true lol

I live in Brazil, that doesnt make me a samba-lover, professional soccer player, big butt woman.

  • @GPazosL HUE HUE HUE... GIB MONIS I REPORT YOU!

  • @13mordeth Yeah I am taiwanese but I do agree a bad example of the bad policeman is the Policeman hitting civilians in a strike like a year ago that was terrible I bet the government was behind all that which was also backed by China. Fucking chinese

  • @13mordeth Where do you live in Taiwan? This vid kinda makes me think it's somewhere near or on the way to Ping Tung City? Am I right?

  • taiwanese police are also pretty poorly paid from what I understand (at least the uniformed rank and file in comparison to the "suits" who work specialized crime), so yeah, I happen to agree with mordeth that 1) police forces throughout the world are dominated by thugs with guns and riot sticks. and 2) with taiwan, there is a problem with corruption and it's attendant practices. when cops are poorly paid, it makes it harder for them to resist the temptation to be corrupt.

  • are the police always like that? did you ever get a citation

  • so is taiwan like a anarchy? i know i wouldnt get away with murder but if i hated a guy could i punch him and have nothing happen to me

  • you should go to Taiwan and try it. then let us know how it turns out. Make sure you pick a guy with elaborate tattoos, that usually means they belong to a group of peaceniks who won't fight back or call the police.

  • haha i agree xP

  • not really.... ud goto jail, or get prosecuted....

  • Stupid Cop xD the last story wAS Funny :D

  • Lol you said the correct thing to do is to run away :P I wouldn't say correct, but if you don't wanna have to pay a ticket then yeah, get outta there :P

  • not much different than U.S police the cops in my town will sit in one spot for 5 minutes waiting for speeding car or wutever after that they'll go back to thier station soo fucking lazy oo and if a speeder does come by they wont pull him over unless hes like 15 - 20 miles over the limit.....thats u.s police 4 ya

  • have u ever driven a car? U really hafto go 15 20 mph over the speed limit to get pulled over. EVERYONE goes 10mph over most of the time. Especially in NY were the the state limit is 55. When it most other states its 65. And if u are drunk in the us while driving and get caught UR FUCKED

  • any white kid out there

  • By watching how many videos he has, I'm sure he has just a "little" experience with the Taiwanese police (note the sarcasm). You can't compare these two very different cultures.

  • Your comparing two completeley different nations, cultures, laws. One this guy from canada and moved to Taiwan, he didn't conclude anything about the U.S.A. Second, your being equally ignorant because unless you have been to Taiwan, what grounds do you have to defend them? Third, this is his personal opinion, hes offering it to people who want to watch his videos. You don't have to listen to him. Finally, did you notice the sarcasm in his voice?

  • And the fact you said you have no idea who he is, means you don't know what he hasn't seen from the Taiwaneese police. You don't know if this was the only time he encountered something like this. So stop trying to blindly defend a culture and antagonize someone who you've never bothered to look at what hes seen before.

  • korea is a country itself, divided by 2 actually.

north and south korea.but korea is beside china =P

  • are you serious?

  • You should stop driving in the villages, and go visit the city !!!! lol the police are excellent , they gave me a lift when i was late for class

  • Cities are boring. Stoplight, stoplight, another stoplight.....etc.

  • he speaks the truth!

I was in Taiwan for about 2 weeks last year and enjoyed the countryside much more than the city.

  • @13mordeth yeeeaaaah....but they gave him a lift when he was late for class!! =P

  • @13mordeth actually, I have been living in Taiwan for two years now. Taiwanese cops are very kind but they are too soft in their hearts. They are never aggressive. Btw, I love ur vids. Keep on going bro.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jeffjhb thats bullshit

  • wow- drink and drive and run away

    legal in taiwan :D LOL

  • Just out of curiosity...What model do you ride? I plan on getting a YZF R6 one day...affordable and has nice performance...:)

Btw you kinda ride like my cousin...except you use the motorcycle paths...My idiot cousin weaves in and out of bike paths :3

  • Should been a Kawasaki ER-6F or Kawasaki Ninja 650R

  • shame on you !!!

  • i feel shame i'm taiwaness...

  • typical taiwan police . all corrupt,. they want money to do anything, the roads are crazier in china, this looks like the outskirts of taipei

  • was that a motorcycle lane u were in??

  • I spent about 40% of my life in Taiwan and 60% in Canada. I agree with M13. My experience with TW cops is that they are not very professional compared to the Canadian version. However, I think it has to do with their training. TW police force should seriously considering an exchange program with other countries.

However, I will say the services from the private sectors in TW are 10X better than in Canada even in a MacDonald. The service people in TW rock!

  • ur kidding right

rcmp is the worst police forces period

  • Other than riding fast I don't purposely endanger others (running reds without looking, cutting people off, changing lanes without signaling...etc)

  • plus your on a bike thats not gunna do as much damage as a car

  • Agreed, Exactly how i am.

  • What the butt? He was in perfect control of the damn thing, what are you on about? "Maniac"? Lulz

  • ur live in poor area of taiwan.OMG

  • You know nothing of Taiwan.

  • and you live in your parents basement...

  • What was you going to do if you broke his window?

  • Huh? Whose window?

  • You said when he stalled you pulled up beside him and punched his window a few times trying to break the glass. just wondering what you was going to do lol

  • Ahh yes, that story...if I'd broken the window I'd have grabbed his keys so he couldn't drive anymore and the cops could bust him for driving drunk.

  • I never thought of that, they might have got you for criminal damage and theft xD If the driver was Taiwanese the cops may have been more supportive of him? or is it not like that?

  • It's not like that. Generally Asians treat Westerners better than their own. For better or worse.

  • its 我非常非常愛我的狗 lol....im a Chinese Canadian

  • @sasa0104y lol... 台灣其實是有他講得那麼差, 所以你和我移民到國外.

  • well, honestly I dunno what the argument below is all about. i mean cops are cops.. doesn't matter where they're from. There's always gonna be a few good ones, and a lotta rotten ones. It's just how things are. They can be lazy, snobbish, haughty and what now.. it's the same in most if not all the countries

  • Correct you are, sir. I did a chapter on that in university. The gist of it was that in general....the people who become police..are those least suited to do so.

  • By the way, how can you say something is true just because YOU SAY SO? Are you really THAT STUPID? No wonder you had shitty jobs before. Keep entertain me. LOL.

  • See now you know you've already lost the argument and you've started to behave ignorantly by insulting me. I'm not saying it's true because I SAY SO, I'm saying it's true because everyone who understands this situation says it's true....including the police I know.

  • I know more about this country than the vast majority of locals that I meet. And YES, if the country were a country like China for example....then I would totally take the word of a foreigner over the word of a local with regards to how China is. That should be common sense. You still have made no sense.

  • You love subjectivism (a fallacy), don't you? And you DARE to attack me by using one of the most obvious fallacies? I must say you are officially unreasonable, although not a surprise.

  • Again you just throw out some big words and make no actual point whatsoever.

  • Why don't you respond to your fallacies first instead of saying my comment is stupid, 13mordeth?

  • What fallacies (wrong beliefs)? You're saying I'm basing all my opinions on Taiwanese Police on the police in my city. When in fact you are wrong. So you tell me what you want me to respond to and I'll respond to it.

  • 13mordeth lives in 中壢 (a city in Taiwan), and he's basically making comments on TAIWAN based on his personal experience in ONE city. An obvious fallacy.

Also, 13mordeth did NOT grow up in Taiwan, so his comments on Taiwan's matters are not reliable, even despite his many fallacies...

  • Windwalker, how many times have you traveled around Taiwan? I've been to almost every city in Taiwan more than 10 times. Every city. So I know how the police are all over this country.

I wasn't born here....so that means I don't understand things? What kind of stupid comment is that? I've lived here my whole adult life.

  • "I've been to almost every city in Taiwan more than 10 times. Every city." is your claim, 13mordeth--we don't know whether that's true or not. And we're talking about YOUR propositions, so how many times I have traveled around Taiwan is not important.

  • If I say it's true....then it's true. I'm M13.

  • this wind walker is abit of a n00b and refers to himself a 'we' as if he has friends haha

  • yes but he has friends unlike you and they have filled him in the economy status, although i wouldn't be hard to pick up a local new paper and find out, 'so his comments on Taiwan's matters are reliable' !!!

  • Just because that happens in 中壢 doesn't mean it's the same in every other places in Taiwan. Try to do a hit-and-run in 台北(Taipei); good luck for that, lol.

  • So Taiwan has ONE city where the police sometimes do their job? Wow....impressive.

  • You're implying that there's only ONE city in Taiwan where the police sometimes do their job, which is obviously false, and that's not my proposition. So you're just using a typical straw man argument here. Please don't think people can't notice such obvious fallacy.

  • omg even if the whole thing was made up lies,,

why the fk do you care

    its not effecting your life

so why dont you take your straw man self and fuck off ~ off this channel as your wasting your time, viewing time and the bloggers time,,

and you prove nothing from bitching about how true m13's words are ,

your bitching don't make readers aware of something they didn't already know,, people take life day by day with a pinch of salt,

so stop trying to down talk people to make yourself feel better

  • lol nice stories and the ride was fun.

  • its always like this in asia n all they get a lotta bribes

  • so did u still feel down after tellin that story..?? lol..

  • taiwan is better then canada, did you know that taiwan is the third smartest country in the world when canada is 23

  • So why are so many Taiwanese trying to hard to move to retire in Canada. And last time I checked no one in Canada tries to retire to here?

  • my parents immigrated to canada cuz land is cheap here. Didnt you know? Canada is a great place to retire and bring up kids. Not only that but also a heaven for drug addicts. Vancouver BC has injection sites which provide free needles to the bums in downtown.

  • mmmm that sounds swell .... o.O

  • It dont matter where you live fucked up shit and corruption is everywhere just gotta learn to live with it, but if all the taiwanese are moving to canada and you moved from canada to tiawan seems you made a mistake why didnt ya just move south of the border to the states you wouldnt have had to learn a new language and teaching is a great job here, your not gonna be rich but you will live comfortably.

  • So your saying that Canada has a better police system than Taiwan. Just because one police does something your not used to your country dosent mean you judge the entire country as a whole. Ive seen some retarded Canadian police too.

  • If you've been to both Canada and Taiwan.....it's more than obvious that Canadian police are "real" police. And Taiwanese police....pffft....I don't know what they are.

  • Ive been to both and im living in Canada, there are different methods of dealing with stuff in different countries. I've seen Candian police bruilty towards there suspects, thats worse than hit and run.

  • In Taiwan....you can kill someone.....go by the police station...give them some money...and they won't "find" you. You can't compare that to Canadian or American police. That's more like Mexico's police.

  • if you have been in taiwan 10 years then you should understand this, Li Ki long biat! If not then you are full of crap!

  • You have no support for your proposition at all, so I assume you're just judging purely based on personal experience, which doesn't include a whole country in your case.

  • o do shut up you fag ..... no one cares what you have to say,, if m13 feels like making a video that bitches about some bent copper then so be it!!!

  • Actually, I live in Vancouver canada, and I find that Canadian police seriously needs some improvement. People relate canadian police to mall security with Tazers.

  • in taiwan, it helps to be taiwanese

foreigners dont know jack about how things work in taiwan

  • Yeah, I've only been here 10 years. Have friends of all types (Taiwan secret police, government, police, mafia). What could I know about Taiwan?

  • if you had friends in public service administrations "(Taiwan secret police, government, police, mafia)" lol mafia; you would know that Taiwan is not a third world country.

  • In Taiwan a blue truck driver can kill someone with his truck.....then go to the nearest police station and give them some money to lose the intersection video tapes of the incident. I've seen it happen. Also can you name a first world country where people ride bikes in a typhoon with their headlights off? Well....that doesn't really make it 3rd world.....but it sure as hell makes it stupid.

  • If you hate taiwan so much, why are you living there!

  • How bout Japan? which is also a first world country and encounters Typhoons on a regular basis and which some of the population do ride mopeds...without turning on their headlights! :o

  • Japan has some of the hardest working police in the world. And some of the lowest crime rates to prove it.

  • Thats true, you should move to Japan then.

  • wow how the hell did u know those ppl? u gotta tell me those stories, hell , or even make a vid about it b/c it just sounds unreally cool, like u r a real agent or something. i think stories aobut secret police and mafia is something ppl will be interested. btw by mafia in Taiwan do u mean triad or what?

  • Taiwan is not a third world country.

  • That's debatable. I saw a man hit and kill an old man with his car. Then give the police some money to let him go. That doesn't happen in first world countries. So Taiwan isn't that either.

  • sorry to say, but that does happen on first world countries...

  • sorry to say, but that doesn't happen. see all the famous people getting arrested these days.

  • It happens...just not ALL the time. But of course it happens.

  • the EXACT same thing happened to me in New Zealand!!! We got the plate and vehicle details of the drunk driver who smashed into my car and drove off and the police did nothing - just sent me a letter three weeks later saying that they didn't have the resources to deal with it AND since i wasn't hurt.......go figure!!

  • thats mexican police to dam currupt mo fos.. but blame the govt... they choose to do nothing, and ignore many things...

  • sorry to hear that

  • That's shockin the police sound like they really dnt give a shit!!
