Eric Carmen is one of a few talented artists to have been able to transition through the 70's 80's and even part of the 90's. That's because his music and writing is timeless. After reading liner notes, I realized even more why I loved this song. Besides Eric's masterful work, singers Donny Gerard, Brenda Russel and Samantha Sang are singing background. It's truly magical and a spiritual thing. There's no wonder this song had so much feeling, soul and presence and became the hit it did.
