I can't understand why people don't like Luna. Maybe it's because most of the Hogwarts students are dull characters (lots of Rowling's characters are fascinating, just not the typical teenagers). I thought it was nice when she held Harry's hand to console him. Young people don't usually do that. It tends to be grown-up ladies with motherly instinct that do that.

I'm a bit like Luna; I go cat-spotting on my walks and sit on the ground to cuddle the cats and talk to them, watch classic Disney films and only listen to old music (usually nerdy 60s bands), talk to myself (sometimes for hours), wear cat ears and play with a skipping rope (not just in my own home). It's probably a very silly sight, but also very merry.
