Well its pronouced hatsune. hatune doesnt exist. the letter "tu" has to be artificially crafted using katakana.

It depends on which romanization you use. The Hepburn system (Hatsune) is closer to English phonology and is more popular among non-Japanese speakers since it's easier to pronounce. Either way you write it the correct spelling is of course Hatsune with 'tsu' as in tsunami, since there is no 'tu' syllable in Japanese at all.
