There are so many things different to how the game was then to how it is now. Back then I wonder if they had machines capable of getting 125 FPS? Plus that's the standard mode their playing in right? Wasn't there a 50ms delay even on LAN? I can't remember.

The thing that stood out of the most for me was item timing and RL damage through floors/ceiling.

aim isn't the most important thing in duels. sound judgment and timing of the armors are more important. Only a newbie would assume aim is so important.

Yeah thats what everybody says, but if you cant aim you can have maxarmour and still suck. If your good enough with rocket you can kill them in seconds even with full armour, same for most other weapons.

yes but back in the day he explored and adopted a new game in a world class time combined with high intelligence to make the right calls on surely not bad opponents
