@WJY90 he has a wider field of vision. That way he can see the things around him more easily. This is only possible on pc though, so if you play on console you can't do this.

@WJY90 I don't have left 4 dead so i couldn't tell you exactly. What i do know is that it is either a graphical option in the game or a console command. you'll have to search for it on the internet, shouldn't be hard to find. On a side note, i think increasing your field of vision does affect your game performance if you don't have a powerful pc, but if you do, it'll give you an advantage as you'll be able to see things you normally wouldn't.
