  • Killer record. Rock and Roll brilliance.

  • damn good CD, my brother bought this back in 2004

  • thanks for uplaoding

  • Your Savior is an unreal song, so good.

  • One of the best rock albuns ever... eternal musics like "Say hello to heaven", "call me your dog", "times of trouble" or All night thing" it will always be a part of my imaginarium... I spend my adolescence listening this and other musics.

  • the greatest rock album of its time, its a classic, its the type of cd you can put in and listen to it through and through without having to skip songs, cornell still whips these songs out as if they were written yesterday, when i talk music with ppl if they dont know this album i usually change the topic, i cant stand ppl who say " yea i love rock, my favorites are zepplin, floyd, etc. " i know that its worthless trying to talk music with those ppl. there cookiecutter fans, nothoughts ofthereown

  • probably one of the most underated rock albums ever made.. i absolutely love this album, must have listened to it aboute 200 times

  • say hello to heaven !

  • I remember the taste of that songs in the old '94, sunday afternoon listen this songs dude, "Hunger Strike" remember me to these times, that songs live for ever dude, that songs are ART.

    Long life to T.O.T.D.

  • Damn good album. It never gets old.

  • To the person said that TOTD gave birth to Pearl Jam and sounds Garden You are so wrong!

Temple of the dog were formed because Andrew Wood, Lead Singer of Mother Love bone died of a heroin overdose. So Chris Cornell who was Andew's roomate, approached two members of mother love bone [Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament] and formed Temple of the dog along with Mike McCready, Matt Cameron and Eddie Vedder where they wrote Say hello to Heaven and Reach down as a tribute to Andrew!

  • They Called Themselves Temple of the dog after the lyrics of a mother love bone song called "Man of Golden Words"

The album was released April 16th 1991!

  • Thank you, leeyybear.

    also, soundgarden was already formed.

  • I just read it and realised i wrote sounds Garden hahah. Oh god! lol I know they are actually called Soundgarden...one word, no s in between..I think i just got so into giving the right view of the band that i wasn't actually paying much attention to how i was spelling things! haha Oops! But yeah Awesome band! So is Mother love bone, Pearl jam and Soundgarden :)

  • Go listen to The Screaming Trees.

    Fucking amazing band.

  • This cd was the first time eddy vedder was ever recorded.

  • THat's nice, dear.

  • Also, besides being nice, is quite untrue.

  • yeah uncle antestesia is the best album

  • where can i find "say hello to heavn" original song in youtube?

    thx

  • Temple is the SHITTTTTTT i love the whole album-----way better than soundgarden or pearl jam.they need to reunite somehow.

  • AMAZING ALBUM!!!!

  • 2 of those songs were from audioslave, this seems rather inaccurate, people with the actual album, good for you

  • What are you talking about? These clips were taken directly from the CD...

  • HUH? Maybe you are confused because you heard Audioslave perform them live, but all are directly off the Temple of The Dog Album. Being that all TOTD and Audioslave songs were either written or co-written by Chris Cornell it's mostly academic anyway I guess.

  • Son, how many times did mommy drop you on your head when you were younger(or still to this day)? Temple of the Dog predates even Pearl Jam. These songs are from like early 91.

  • LMAO your retarded audioslave covered these songs a few times just because the songs are close to chris cornell and the audioslave cover of reach down is not near as good as the original recorded by temple of the dog

  • please dont say that metallica changed music in 1990-91, cuz they didn't. nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam did. metallica changed music 10 yrs before that with kill em all, lightning, puppets and justice....come on kid....

  • why are people talking about metallica. i mean i totally agree with you but that band is so greedy that i cant come to likeing them. and plus the sellout every two years.

  • metallica and metal sucks in general, dont you agree, alternative kicks its ass

  • I'm sure a lot don't know that Temple of the Dog gave birth to BOTH Pearl Jam & Soundgarden, and if you really want to talk truth here, it was Temple of the Dog, Nirvana, and Metallica, that changed music in 1990-1991.

Still my favorite era of music is 1990-1995. Same for SNL. Weird.

  • temple of the dog definitely did not give birth to soundgarden. they were already a fairly successful band by this point in time

  • i love the solo

  • great album ,i love it (L)

  • great record.

  • all time favorite album

  • Screw what anybody says otherwise Chris Cornell is UNDENIABLE.

  • nice... music will never this good again

  • What's scary is that you're so right! Music is such garbage now. THESE were the most amazing times!!!
