  • They even found a way to make getting robbed fun! i love the japanese

  • every convenient store has those balls. they do it not compulsory but recomendamtion by police.

  • Propulsion gel!

  • haah awesome :D

  • こんな行為をユーモアと考えているこの男のユーモア精神の欠如にあきれる。この男のやってることは機知も知性も無いただ迷惑なだけのガキのイタズラ。

It's amazed at a lack of humor spirit of this man who regards such act as the humor. his act is a troublesome trick of the child who has no wit and low intelligence.

  • Thrown towards the robbers escape. The brightly colored, make it easier to police investigations.

     This is known as paintball.

  • orange attack!

  • DRAGONBALLS!!!

  • Only in Japan...

If a thief is robbing your store, he/she has weapon. If he didn't have a weapon how would he force you to give up the cash? Throwing paint at an -armed- robber is not a smart thing to do.

    Sorry guys.

  • @jebustheone lol japan has really strict gun control laws if u dont know

  • Very clever! The japanese should seriously stop hogging all the good ideas and get into the spirit of sharing.

  • Robber comes in, shoot him/her dead. Problem solved. Leave my (blue?) balls nice and warm where they are.

  • @AirstripBum I suspect you are american? ;-)

  • @jesperc20 Yeah American with Australian accent :D

  • would've been nice if the guy helped her clean it up.

  • Typical ugly American. Causes trouble and just walks away from the mess he created without offering compensation.

  • @neocon70 Hey dipshit. He's Austrailian. And he didn't cause the mess. It was the casier who dropped and broke the ball and made the mess. He only asked what the heck it was.

  • I wonder how effective these things actually are.

  • :))

  • ぶつけられた強盗がキレてなにするかわかんないじゃん 怖いよ

  • Man this guy is rude as fuck. Maybe not in our standards but in Japan hes acting like a douche.

  • You sir are so misinformed that its funny.

  • I have to agree, The guy just walked out after asking about the orange balls, not even saying anything or helping her. what a jerk.

  • she wouldnt actually let us help clean up, we offered, but she didnt want help.

  • @gtrracer Actually I'm the guy in the video and I did ask to help but the woman did not want my help. She was embarrassed and insisted on cleaning it herself. I edited the video so that I just walk straight out.

  • @SimoAdams Just help anyway, it would be decent even though it was her mistake, after all, you guys created the situation in the first place.

And thanks for the vid, I wonder how the ball works when the robbers are aware of its function though..

  • @SimoAdams I'm glad you mentioned that you offered to help!

  • @FelixTheHouseFreak And that sir, is the whole point

  • thats the idea.

  • That's pretty innovative

  • Orange Ballについて

    Orange Ballは強盗などがきたときに投げつけます

    車にぶつけても有効です

    Orange Ballには特殊なインクが入っており洗ってもなかなか落ちません

    特殊な臭いもつき洗ってもなかなか落ちません

    警察が捜査しやすくなります

    町の人たちは警察と協力的です

  • at least it'll be ezier for the cop to find the perp if he escapes

  • love it

  • ive never seen them though.

  • LOL

  • lol only in japan

  • I have never seen anything about this, awesome vid!

  • you see the way that dude dodged it?

    skills.:P

  • love it, i have always wondered what they were, thanks.

  • Japanese people awfully hate people to trouble like this.

  • This guy asked a shop stuff it many times to have already known what an orange ball was. He finally troubled the woman who was going to explain it kindly.

  • wow thats pretty weird throwing a water ball full of orange paint at a robber

  • It's like dye packs except it's flourescent so that anyone can easily spot the criminal.

  • Very clever :)

  • in this hilarious tv drama called sexy voice and robo, there was a robber who went to rob the post office and he got orange-balled (although the ink was green) and drove his motorcycle into a beauty salon where ichiro and niko are getting their hair to get the ink out of his hair with shampoo. but that ink doesn't come out with shampoo, and when the police arrive, they think ichiro is the criminal because he has green paint on his jacket (a friend told him it was fashionable).

  • Let's be rational, the orange ball is 'DA-ME'. If a guy with a gun comes and is leaving, do u throw something at him to agravate him. I think not. Regarding the guy not helping: I live in Japan, even if he offered to help. The lady would have denied him. And if he insisted she'd block him from helping.

  • THat is an awesome idea

  • Pretty useless if the thief have some spare clothes to get changed as soon as he leaves the scene!!

  • From what I imagine, the orange stuff reeks like hell. You'd be hard pressed to hide an odor and it would pwn you if people there are familiar with it.

Also, this does has it problems. Not everyone has a good throw...and you can miss and hit someone else...

  • also, they train dogs to sniff out the odor.

  • Great, I think they make the dye in the Orange balls out of American Horses, (good because they eat so much junk food), Dolphins and Whale meat. Very good uses for such useless animals.

P.S. please dont advertise your own agenda on this comments page, thanks.

  • as far as I know they don't even have theft in Japan...I would say that it's a gimmick somebody there marketed really well and sold to a whole lot of retail businesses..it's a funny thought though

  • I lived there for only 2 years and had 5 bikes stolen.

  • It's been around for years that they have "forensic dyes" which can tie a person in to a scene of a crime. The intruder alarm activates a mist curtain which tags the crim. for weeks and weeks. The dyes are unique to one organisation. We use it in a paint which covers all removable components of our computers at college. The police caught several students that way!

  • If you throw an object at a robber in the US, expect to get shot and then have the verdict come out in the robber's favor as self defense. :/

  • Heheh I live next door to 7-11 Conbini, I'll "kaba" my trax!

  • I remember when these came out a few years ago... I think they'd prolly work well 'cuz conbini thieves are dumb. One guy robbed a store and the police followed his footprints in the snow to his apartment!

  • This is a practice that should happen outside of Japan as well.

  • too many possibilites for abuse in the US-- i would predict kids getting ahold of them every Halloween or April Fools day (or really ANY day), hurling them at teachers, innocent bystanders, friends. For better or worse the US is not as structured a society as Japan, would be hard to keep these under wraps for long.

  • This is certainly not our "creative device".. Check in almost any store in Japan. Read the article before you make comments that make you look stupid huh..?

  • read and understand the post before you make comments that make you look stupid, huh...?

  • its to i.d. the criminal, moron.

when someone runs down the street in a ski mask with a splatter of orange paint on his chast, he probably just robbed the store.

    get a brain.

  • you sure are a dumb asshole. where the hell do you live? in a cave?

  • @seraphim123

its to effing identify the thief if they run before police show up, not incapacitate them. Herp derp.
