However I learned that you get him back on chapter 44 on the Nadesico route. I also learned that the cheat has some side affect if used before chapter 44 but, with Gai Daigoji's burning spirit I'll power thought. Thank you Gai Daigoji for teaching us many different things may your burning soul live on for all of us.

I had first learned about Gai Daigoji when a friend of mine showed me Gundam Seed Astray Abridged 2: The Tale Of Blue Frame! I instantly grow to like this character. I also saw him when I was forced to play Super Robot Wars J by the same friend. He instantly became my favorite unit and used him the most. Then Gai suddenly vanished from my unit list so I freaked out. I looked on the internet for a way to get him back. I found a cheat code and I used it I got Gai back and I was happy.

Gai Daigoji .... I salute you. You live on in the hearts of all of us. You where granted the dream that all of us mecha fans dream ... to pilot a giant robot. You where the inner mech pilot in us all. You where the only animated character struck a heart string when you died. (Aeris did nothing to me.) I actually started crying on the spot. To me for some reason it was like losing a brother or a close friend. Gai Daigoji death is only part of the journey so good bye and good luck.

All of us would like to have an opportunity to pilot Valkyries, Gundans, etc, in epic battles of the good against the badly. Gai was a anime fan and he had his dream of being a pilot of mechas done reality in Nadesico. It was easy to like of him because we recognized ourselves in his enthusiasm. His death was traumatic for Akito because, Gai always encouraged him and it was a somebody that elevated the friends' morals. It is sad that he has not had more time to take advantage that moment.

Gai was the coolest character in Nadesico, and even though there was meaning in his death, that is one of the most traumatic impacts in any anime of all time, I didnt want him to go!! Especially if it was by a gun.
