Those who Opt-Out should be put in a PRIVATE room, per their requests, be given a number and told they will be taken in order. Do the pat downs as quickly as possible.
After about 45 mins when about half of them have missed their flights, go out and ask the waiting crowd if anyone wants to Opt-Out.

But seriously, the US Government has extended a great amount of control over peoples lives over the last ten years, and the US is becoming a police state. That scares the hell out of me. I like many US citizens and have alot of friends who live there. I have fear that it may get alot worse. Those are my true fears. What are yours?

@lchb305 I actually do have a say in where I am traveling and how I get there. Just like you. I'm pretty much saying I'm boycotting flying to the US because of these methods. Other Canadians will no doubt take the same course of action. In that way, we have made an impact with the loss of the the revenue that would usually have went to the US and instead has went to another country.
You should be afraid of how much the US government has done to and taken from the US people.

Those who Opt-Out should be put in a PRIVATE room, per their requests, be given a number and told they will be taken in order. Do the pat downs as quickly as possible.
After about 45 mins when about half of them have missed their flights, go out and ask the waiting crowd if anyone wants to Opt-Out.
Wonder how many of those brave souls will raise their hands then?

Just wait and see; in a couple of years 5-10, we the travelling public will be MADE to ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY HAVE TO STRIP OUR CLOTHES OFF over there at the nations' airports. Back then, at first, it was just metal detectors, then a bunch of bullshit little mickey mouse crap we had to put up with (no liquids, no nail clippers, no medications, etc., then machine which blew a puff of air at your body and the machine can "sniff" you for bomb residue, then x ray machine, and now "enhanced" pat downs.

1. Some of these machines use an untested technology called back scatter technology, which emits radiation equivalent to 10-30 mins of flying. Multiple exposures causes cell mutation.
2. These images are stored. Look at the CNN reports. A TSA rep. said, "Employees delete the images." If these images aren't stored, then they wouldn't have to be deleted. A Fed Courthouse in FL had over 30,000 images stored.
3. The government cannot profile so we are all deemed terrorists until proven innocent.
