but now looking what u said about the new oled tv that's gonna be released soon, i thiink im going to hold on a lil bit more,cuz when those come out if they r too pricey & i cant afford them, the normal LED tv are going to be cheaper, im sure, so i could probably get a bigger one than 55'' way cheaper than they r now right?

@HDCRdrummer Yeah, no problem. There are so many nice TVs LG is going to release. If you want a TV now, go for it. If you want to spend a few hundred more and wait until march for their 2012 LED line up go for it. I plan on getting another TV in july when the LG OLED TV comes out. Its going to be a bit pricey but I've been saving for it for a while now.

@IBMProKGB - So... you put any video source through it and the TV converts the 2F image to 3D. What would happen if you rigged it up to an old NES or a Super Nintendo, would it still affect the image? Kind of a curiosity I have. I got iz3D software recently, got that working with the modern games (and -some- emulators, like PJ64 and Dolphin) but it doesn't do anything for NNNesterJ or Zsnes, sadly.

@SolidRaider6 OLED is going to be the next big thing. its not LCD, Plasma, or LED backlit. Its its own organic light emitting diode (OLED). It will be the new standard for displays in the future guaranteed. You can actually youtube "LG OLED TV" and you will see the craziness. The contrast levels on those TVs are so insane, i'd give a kidney for it. Expect the price to hit $6-7500.

but ive compared this one with the other models and theyre aparently better than this one,well just better contrast nothing else.

but my question is that ive heard that this LG tv`s dont work that good on the internet, ive heard that some ppl cant actually look any videos on youtube because it says that a flash player update its needed for the tv, is that real?? or how good its the internet experience with this tv dude! cuz i wanna buy it.

@ilovejareni Ok. I agree, there are many TVs better than this TV in terms of contrast pictures however for the price, this TV has the best 2D and 3D. You won't find any. IMO the best picture on any LED TV would probably be the Panasonic VT30 or LG LW9800. But those TVs are pricey. And yes, this TV does have a youtube app that runs at good speed, depending on your internet. The youtube app is not a youtube app at all, but an LG app that is configured to run youtube streaming.

@yass2022 Absolutely everything. That includes any computer games hooked up to the TV, Nintendo games, emulated games. If you want to get a feel on how good the conversion is for the old school games, pop in gran turismo 2 or 3 and convert it. You won't be disappointed. LG TVs are known for crazy 3D conversion as well as showing 3D original content.

@viking95boxer The conversion on games is excellent. Although the conversion on one of the games, madden 2011 wasn't the best, all my racing games, GTA4, Final fantasy 13, CoD black ops(i didnt have 3D version, Battle field 3 works insane. If you decide to purchase, give me your feedback.

@DDoiS Actually, the gaming is darn good. Especially playing during the day, the matte screen is especially great for the anti-glare. What problems have you had to say gaming is total crap for it? I thought the 3D gaming was excellent.

@IBMProKGB yep it is.. i got 55 inch cinema lg but it really looks awesome.. only thing is that the reaction time of it is really slow when using that (so no 3d gaming i gess :( )

@sevlarievlis 2d to 3d does tend to work better on visuals involving horizontal movement, such as sports and many wildlife videos. For everything else it just looks like 2d being projected on a lumpy wall.
