  • I get that the buyer's opinion is the only one that matters in a transaction. But the problem is not weather I lose that buyer or not. It's the fact that a few crazy ass buyers can ruin my small business, by leaving all negative feedback just because they are in a bad mood that day or they just want to be malicious. The bigger picture is the opinion of future buyers at stake.

  • New buyers? You mean zero feedback buyers? We have been all trained not to like zero feedback bidders, and they even have a block functions for zero feedback bidders? Now your scaring the sellers. No sellers = no buyers...

  • why the fuck don't you block IP addresses asshole Jim? I had a stalker create 12 accounts blocking me from selling my items on ebay because he won every auction and refused to pay for them all. Even after calling your support team on numerous occasions and explaining them the situation, you still didn't help me out. Fuck you asshole, you already blow sellers up with fees up the asshole. Sell on craigslist guys.

  • You stated in this video that the only opinion that matters is the buyers WOW! Youre basically just told the seller to go jump! If you are selling on eBay then for sure you are also buying through service fees on every item .You pay for pictures, listing fees , relisting's etc. Not 2 mention that most sellers also buy on eBay to support the team .Sellers should have rights 2.Some byers like to cause hate and discontent and will put a Neg. feed back for any event or 2 get a discount! BAD IDEA!

  • Griff is a stupid mofo. As a seller who PAYS TO USE YOUR SITE, I am YOUR customer, Nimrod Griff. So why don't you apply that same logic to sellers? And no, I do not believe that they even asked buyers why they weren't coming back. I know why. It wasn't feedback it was fraud. And eBay let it stand, becuase they wanted that feed money, period.

  • Fuck you, Griff. Caveat Emptor is the rule. All of my negatives and neutrals are from idiot ebayers who don't do one or all of the following:

    1) Look at the photos

    2) Read the item title

    3) Read the item description

    4) Read and ABIDE by the Seller's Policy.

    These nitwits now give negs and neutrals with impunity thanks to evilbay. Fuck them, and fuck you and your attitude, too.

  • Ebay has become absolutely random bizarre capricious unfair and completely slanted AGAINST the seller. If there were an alternative site with the same number of eyeballs on it - that treated the sellers with rational respect - I would switch to them tomorrow - but alas - there is not. Don't even get me started on the insanity of Paypal disputes - which are even more bizarre. Where is the ebay.2 to fill the obvious vacuum of insane business practices that ebay currently espouses ?

You don't know jack man,all the sellers are leaving cause of one feedback category and that's shipping. You and Ebay has made it hard for a new seller to sell on your site by limiting their advisability through best match that don't work!.You have made this company worthless and it will continue to tank with this feedback policy you have!   • Griff is Off bla2! Ebay's policy is 'The customer is always right'. This would be fine except not everyone who walks in your doors is a customer. A man that walks into your store and put items in his pocket and walks out without paying is not a customer, he is a shoplifter.

  • In the brick and mortar world, word of mouth lets other shop owners know if a person is a shoplifter, a teen is a vandal or man is a robber and they bar those persons from their shop. On eBay feedback was the only way we had to warn other seller of the rare trouble makers.

  • EBay, with there customer is always right policy, took that tool away from us. I could have lived with that. When that took that tool away they promised that they would protect us from the NPB. They lied. On the same night, I received 2 negative feedback, both from non paying bidders. In the terms of my auctions it states 'Your payment is expected to arrive within 7 days.

  • After 7 days I may relist the item, and a NPB strike given.' I gave both bidders an extra 7 days to pay. One responded to the NPB alert by saying that she had mailed payment on the 14th day. The other made a credit card payment on the 14th day within minute of the item being relisted, and I did not get the notice of her payment until early the next day. I gave both strikes. EBay removed one of the strikes and let both of the negatives stand.

  • The biggest mistake eBay has made was forgetting that since the sellers are the ones paying the fees, the sellers are eBay's customers. EBay's new policy can be summed up as 'bidder is always right and the seller is always wrong'. I cancelled all my auctions and will no longer sell on eBay. "

  • without the sellers ebay is nothing this dildo does not know anything about anything now sellers are open to blackmail. I the buyers gave the sellers an option to resolve the issues they may of had before posting negs they would not have gotten one in return. now the seller has no reason what so ever to leave a posative. I will tell you why you are a donkey. it is because buyers do not have to even pay anymore they only have to bid and they can leave a negative. THEY ARE NOT BUYERS YOU DONKEY!

  • Ebays current system i won't use , call it a strike, whatever .New sellers be careful! As a buyer i've used the sellers feedback to make good decisions and never been ripped off by a seller .But i refuse to be ripped off as a seller by Ebay whom owns Paypal now and that is the whole reason behind the changes.

  • I consider Paypal wanting me to ship out my item with no funds in my bank stealing my property,wich they have no claim .Bad buyers can easily take advantage of me with disputes wich they get the money and my expensive item.

  • I'm a casual seller / mostly buyer on Ebay.The seller can't leave the buyer negative feedback.I'm 50 all 100 percent positive feedback .So they force me to accept Paypal to secure illegal 21 day holds/loans on really stolen property .I refunded a buyer his paypal payment $1,300 .Between Ebay Final value fees/Paypals fees they clipt $100.00 off the top and want to hold funds 21 days.Luckily i'm a casual seller but this will probably cause me not to buy.

  • What DROVE the change is ebays intention to earn Interest on PP holds while they transition to a different marketplace that won't need the majority of todays ebay sellers.

    Ebay could've eliminated Buyer fear with one action. They could have required Sellers to leave feedback first. Problem solved.

    Buyer dissatisfaction is ebays excuse for holding PayPal funds. The cards are stacked against Sellers. Before it's done the majority will endure a PP hold. Can you say Anti-Trust?

  • Congratulations! AT LAST someone else who can see the wood for the trees, I think you are totally correct, eBay is set to junk the home sellers, its what they WANT. But to do it in one blow would kill then so they are easing into bulk trader territory as home sellers die off. Trade practices that are ILIGAL are being carried out, sellers are being bilked so eBay can make the transition.

  • ebays the one giving buyers 14 days to pay,what were you thinking by the time we as sellers get to the truth and hold the item we just flat out loose,if you go to a store and win or buy YOU PAY ThaTS IT we are not a credit card company so whats up with the poor managment with ebay.if you buy you pay,ebay set this up for failure not the sellers

  • You make me laugh when you said the seller says in his listings you gotta do this you can't do that. The seller has to many rules & restrictions for the buyer. Strange that? That's what we think of ebay.

Ebay has made a huge mistake with this new feedback change and you are not the brightest person in the world (your words not mine) if you cannot see that.
