I just watched this last night and OMG LOL IT WAS HILARIOUS.

Especially the old lady with the basketball LOLOL HER EXPRESSION IS FUNNNY. I thought it would have been scarier but it wasn't.

I agree with Babasaurusrex up there. I watched that movie 'Paranormal Activity' which was meant to be scary as crap, but yeah - there's been comedies that scared me more. Really, no kidding. I watched it and all I said to myself at the end was 'Hmmyeah... I think I see what you did there...'. That shit's got NOTHING on Takishi Shimizu!

@Gokimanga I know right? Those Japanese come up with a theme and a story and stick to it. The fear it invokes seems to be because we, being viewers, are complete pussies. With USA horror movies it's more like 'It's super scary! And teenagers have sex in the middle of the movie, which doesn't only make a lot of sense, but you'll also be watching horror AND porn! Isn't that a great combination? Watch it now!'.

You are aware that Ju-On came before the Grudge. And the Grudge was an american version of the Ju-On movies, so much so that they got the original kayako and toshio actor and actress that played them in Ju-On for the Grudge
