Not really, that's where skill comes into play. These kicks are very effective if done at a slightly longer range than normal kicks and you need to be fast with them. The kicker isn't very vulnerable if the technique is part of a combo, which is exactly how all slightly slower kicks should be done. You shouldn't do a round-house kick if you don't have the time to do one.

those aren't real black belts duh... not even in tae kwon do can you get a black belt in a couple of years.....

TKD kicks are effective in theory but in practical application, it is very weak and leaves the kicker very vulnerable.
