  • It is called Black Bloody Roses. It is track 2 from the album. I bought the album way back in 2000 and it still hasn't lost any of it's magic even today. 1. Forbidden Tales. 2. Black Bloody Roses. 3. Garden of Sadness. 4. Still in the Grey Dying. 5. Fall From Grace. 6. Frozen Misery. 7. Evenfall. 8. Sails of Charon. 9. Dark is the Season. 10. Inbetween Days.
  • @Ghula666 The title is correct

  • mmmm this song is Forbidden Tales

  • no ;)

  • Sorry I have not responded to each of you guys that have taken a look at this clip. Personal life gets a bit hectic at times, so I am unable to sign in here all the time and respond on a regular basis.

Thank you all for taking the time to look at this clip and to leave a comment as well. It's appreciated and I hope it has made you more interested in the subject matter.

Check my review for the album on [Encyclopaedia Metallum]. It is under the user name: Zoon McCoy.

  • A great song!!!!!

  • It looks depressive but inside this genre is one of the best songs. One question, Is gothic metal or fusion between gothic and depressive black metal?

  • @jdreamer85:

I would guess that Goth Metal is a fusion between Gothic overtones and Depressive Black Metal. But that is just a guess as I have never given the idea any thought untill now not untill you mentioned it anyway lol. I hope that answers your question for you pal.

  • I am not fully knowledgeable about this type of music. This differs from what I see Gothic metal. I see a trend more melodic black metal with depressive tendencies that the metal Gothic. This differs from groups like Theatre of Tragedy and Lacrimosa. This song takes elements from both genders, this song might evolve over a black depressive but without leaving behind some Gothic elements.

  • I loveeeeeee this song!!!! Beautiful

  • Excellent song, but I still like "Forbidden tales" more! Greetings from Serbia!!!

  • Hi there pal. Thanks for looking at the clip and listening to it. The more exposure this band gets the better. I like Forbidden Tales as well and I would LOVE to have the spoken Latin dialogue translated to english so as I could know what it means. Or maybe that is part of the mystery [in not knowing what it means]. The whole album is good.

  • the best song!!!

  • cool

    song

    well c u later

    cya

  • I am glad you liked the song. Thanks for commenting on the clip.

  • The opening melody would make a great black metal riff.

  • I never noticed this before, but yeah, it would make a good riff for another band to use maybe. I think Evenfall have just the right amount of BM in their sound to take them to the edge of the BM abyss but not to fall into it.

  • Ya, they're right up there with thier influences Tristania and COF. I think that the melody would be great with that tremello guitar and blast beats of Early Darkthrone, Immortal, or MayheM. However(to counter your abyss metaphor), you cant just flirt with True Norwegian Black Metal, since It is so cold and indifferent. You can either love it or hate it, but you can not modify it to suit your taste. It will burp and fart as it pleases and refuse to groom itself.

  • It is about seven years or so I have been listening to the Still In The Grey Dying cd. I got it almost after it came out. Infact it might be longer than seven years, seven and a half maybe. I can't remember lol. I found the album thanks to Terrorizer magazine and their free monthly cover mounted cd they give away. It had this song on the cd at the time. And my love for this album grew from there I guess.

  • Thank you!!!!! Awesome.

  • Glad you liked it, pal.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Thank you for listening to it, and leaving a comment. It's really appreciated so it is.

  • i love this song!!! thx Guevara
