  • That's one thing i'll never forget about ireland, the roads there are incredibly narrow compared to the US!

  • what is purpose of this video and how did you place camera?

  • I could ask the same of your video's. The purpose is to keep a visual recollection of an event that happened on a past occasion. I've left Ireland, and before I moved, I made a few videos of drives I made regularly, just to compare if or when I return. I used the seatbelts in the back seat to stabilise a tripod for this video, but I have a clamp that I use now.

  • Good driving, other than the boy-racer-style one-hand-on-top-of-the-steering-wheel driving. Try driving at the 10-to-2 position. This gives far better control of the steering-wheel. I've been in a crash where if I wasn't holding at the 10-to-2 position I most definitely would have lost control and ended up into a ditch. The front wheels did not want to stay straight. That's just a note of caution.

Fair play for your dual-carriageway driving. I hate drivers hanging out on the overtaking lane.

  • Not boy-racer style mate. I got rear-ended in November of 2006 and have trouble with my shoulders, which leads to intensive migraines. I keep one hand on the gear-stick and one to steer. I hate when people hog the outside lane too, especially when they're unable to keep a constant speed.
