easier solution is to just hook your pc or even laptop to the tv. there you go problem solved i can already do that without google tv. besides i wouldnt have to pay anything i just need to get my hands on the cable to connect my pc to the tv. what i dont understand is why i would choose google tv over just connecting a lapotop. i can already watch live tv shows and full movies online for free. @Google it would be nice if you reply cus i see flaws in google tv.

I bought logitech revue so i could have google tv (well my friend was the one behind the decision) and shamefully i cant access netflix from it neither my youtube account. Netflix keeps popping a try later and visit netflix help which is of no help...my youtube account is inaccessible, the whole screen turns black and i can only see the menu on the right...all these happened after i downloaded an "UPGRADE"...I regret it! customer service doesnt answer phones, emails or live chat! WORSE service

Just got the Logitech Revue and it is pretty awesome. It needs some minor tweaks but over all it has completely enhanced my TV viewing experience with Google TV wireless keyboard and built in web browser. I used to hook up my laptop to my TV for netflix and youtube but now its alot easier and cleaner.

@oskarmonkey303 Yes you can watch flash video. Its just like having a full chrome web browser with additional apps and DLNA streaming of your personal content from other computers on your home network. Hulu blocks Google TV from streaming video, but I think that will get worked out soon. Only downside I see now is that the GTV 2.0 firmware upgrade has been scheduled to "come out soon" for quite some time. Still waiting.

@oskarmonkey303 flash videos are not playable on google tv...i had problems watching videos from facebook and the message was that i needed to upgrade the version but there is no way around it, you have to wait till the company does the upgrade and sends notification...the sad thing is that they did and now i dont have access to my netflix account neither to my youtube account

@BigNate84 I upgraded the system...and thats what brought my problems..at the beginning i couldnt watch videos from facebook, the message was that the flash needed to be upgraded but when i went to the flash page the message was that it was uptodate and i needed to wait for the company to do the upgrade...then youtube stop playing certain videos and now i cant access my youtube account...netflix as well...i did an upgrade and i regret it...GOOGLE TV? BOOOOO!

In my house, my dad hooked up the computer that was closest to the tv to the tv. What is on the monitor is on the tv screen and all we have to do is walk across the room from the couch and choose what we want to do. Easy. My dad also got a cable for the laptop so we (my siblings and I) could watch something ion different rooms when my parents were using the other main tv.

People the only difference between a TV & monitor is nothing but a Coaxial cable jack that you dont even need , Dont be fooled and you dont need a box just hook up your computer to the TV and bang your good to go. Im sitting in my recliner watching a 47" 1080hd tv with my mouse and keyboard as my media center/TV/Computer remote control. I refuse to watch cable now for 15 years. My home phone is free and it includes video chat caller id, voice mail, ext ext ext. Peace out
