Fuck. Does anybody remember the Gamefly commercial where they mention "Bean Farmer Extreme"? Well my friends and I started discussing what that would be like. It would of course be an MMORPG where you are raising an army of beans to avenge your mother's death. (beans raped her)
It of course had a hoe controller, and the gameplay was similar to the video above. You could steal tractors and stuff too. It was like GTA.
We had shirts made with the game logo, and our character profiles on the back.
I first saw this ad last night at a bar with the sound turned off. I had already seen the "parents discover son's porn stash" ad. This one attracted my eye before I even knew what it was for. I thought "What is this supposed to be--the world's most boring video game?" Then the "HINT OR ELSE--GameStop" came up--hilarious! Already being familiar with the ad campaign theme, I actually found it funnier without the voiceover explanation. All it needs is the visuals to get the message across!
"The good news is you're mom's thinking of getting you a video game for Christmas. The bad news is, she's going to get advice from the GameStop employee trying to get rid of hard-to-move stock"
that is so not true! gamestop corporate offices get rid of their unwanted inventory by pulling it out of the stores because they have all the money in the world to afford it..
as stupid as this might be... People all around the world are paying for another version of gardenmaster3... its called farmville...
