the style of gears editing vs the style of halo editing are two different things. gears gameplay is its best in montages with less. halo provides theatre and other angles with semetric views that just make it better for editing.

No, what you said in the description is that they made it too easy to get kills with sniper, which is completely wrong, in gears 1 people blindfired like crazy and got lucky shots and put them in montages, here you cannot do that, nor can you snipe up close for the most part. they made sniping a LOT harder.I think they should make it a little bit easier, and a lot of the times the headshots don't register.

wtf? they didn't make sniping easier, it's like way harder now! No active downs, your scope shakes when you get shot while aiming and the hit area for the head has been reduced!

you actually explained my point. the only shots you can get with sniper are when ppl are standing still or fighting someone else. which are easy shots. no longer can you quickly pop some1's head when they try to rush you or they pop up behind you and you have to quickly react. those kinda shots are pure luck. so why should i waste my time picking up snipe every round just so i can get some lucky popshot or blindfire. ppl who do that are just pathetic in my opinion.

I'm sorry, but that pretty much made no sense what so ever. You can still do all those things, it's just harder to snipe coz of the factors I explained earlier. This new system also means it isn't suicide to suppress a sniper with a lancer.

Well technically, if they made it so hard to snipe up close that you had to take shots that made you put some distance between you and your enemy and put yourself out of the battle, that is making it easier, I can see what you saying. BUT, if you compare them both together, sniping is harder in the second one, if you play it like the 1st. I think that EPIC wanted a more tactical approach to this game and took out the gladiator style gameplay which everyone loved from the first one.
