  • This is terribly boring and preachy.

  • This is beautiful music

  • Heavyweight on some next level

  • love it! power and respect to the youth of all time!

  • People need to remember this is part of a concept album which is based in a distopian near future parody of England - a warning of what can come from giving in to fear and allowing it to rule in place of freedom liberty and understanding.

  • LIKE IF HESFES 2011 GROOVY MOVIE BROUGHT YOU HERE

  • Anyone think of the film Twelve Monkeys whilst watching this?

  • ill to another level. would love to work with you on a orject. Check my channel and get back if your intrested. Peace man

  • 'Guantanamo bay mark 2, here at home, in Glastonbury...' I live in Glastonbury, and this shit scares me, but that doesn't mean I deny it.

We must accept that fears we have of the future turning sour

are all possibilities, and they're creeping closer by the hour.

Don't turn away, you can't pretend things'll be alright,

we got to be prepared to stand for our cause day or night

so I ask you, will you please take my hand,

wade through the bodies that might one day cover this land...

  • ...So lets look to the future with all positivity,

but keep in mind, all the possibilities,

of things going too far, the shit hittin' the fan

because one day the world might need us to make a stand.

Something I made up on the spot, just now. (Yes, I expect a lot of you will believe I didn't,

but there's not much I can do about that.) It's not great, but its one way of getting a message out there.

    Keep open minded.

  • Brilliant idea of incorporating news footage with an excerpt of the live show. The music is also amazing. I love this folk rap of Dizraeli's. I hope to see the show soon!

  • Hey hey peoples, just to make clear- this is a song in character from the hiphop theatre show/album The Rebel Cell. I play a future, radicalised version of myself. In the world of 2013, the BNPBC broadcasts the nightly news; a full-fledged fascist government is in power; Glastonbury is a prison camp. My character's speech here reflects ideas from different positions in the Left- not all my own beliefs. But I'm glad it's sparked debate. Big up. D

  • @MCDizraeli Thanks for the clarification. I got the album and i gotta say its great. We need more theatre pieces like this. Are you actually doing the play anywhere or is it just the album?

  • yo man this guys sivk i want to collab. same concept and i live close by get at me

  • hate the way he says "own" or "know"

  • TRUTH

  • This is brilliant and I have shared at Facebook!

  • MASSIVE tune

  • Dizraeli and Baba Brinkman are actual amazing I can't believe I got to see them in Southampton. xx

  • i saw this @ the fringe, an it was frikin awesome

  • By far the best thing on the Edinburgh Fringe this year. Rebel Cell is stunning - lyrically, visually and on message.

Congrats guys. good luck with the rest of the run.

  • It's all good.

  • hm. dude has passion no doubt, flows are okay, and I feel a lot of the lyrics but occasionally I think he's wrong. "pro-Islam"? secular society is the only answer, you can't have the BBC arguing in favour of Mohammed as Prophet and saviour of humanity. Also, banks. It's more complex than "they hold all the money", the deeper problem is that they create false money (which isnt there) through debt. Splitting hairs here but pretty good track. Keep doing yer thing mate yer better than me at it!

  • I don't think he's trying to make a "pro-Islam" argument. I think he's using 'Islam', 'anti-capitalism', and so forth as examples of subjects whose views are are often under/mis-represented within the mainstream media.

E.g 10 Islamists protest at a parade for returning British troops and make the national news, while at the same time thousands of people (of all races and beliefs) attend a peace rally in Northern Ireland and recieve virtually no news coverage.
