  • maeby cryengine III

  • its your card whats doing what you see

  • its like a high class gif image lol

  • where I can download this preview???

  • Excuse me, I wanted to see the Direct X 11 Water Preview, all I saw was real life! :D

  • Awesome graphics :D

  • That's some sexy water.

  • @ZeroPlasmaPulse i believe all water is sexy :)

  • 9 people can't swim

  • looks like jelly

  • @Latvietis96 I feel bad for people that never saw the ocean in their lifes... =/

  • @Broax it`s k

    ive seen it on TV

  • i feel thristy

  • humm... crysis water still looks better

  • Impressive!

  • TROLLOLOLOL

  • смотрится конечно круто, но вода выглядит как кисель, т..е. пусть разрабы и дальше совершенствуются. А так на 5-ку для Директа 11

  • i give thumb down cuz i dunno how to swim

  • @Chrislav7 watch?v=2WJG14uLA3k

  • Yea sure, you just took a camera to the beach and filmed some real water! Right? :o

If not; how mutch CPU did the rendering of the water alone cost your pc?

  • Its so realistic! cool!

  • 7 people went to the toilet after seeing the water :)

  • People who dislike have no money for a good pc lol

  • HOW THE FUCK OR WHAT CAN PEOPLE DISLIKE ON THAT VIDEO ?

  • real water needs an upgrade.

  • man i used to remember the days I would look at the water in a old FPS game and see that its just a blue carpet with no dynamic effects or any change within the water source whatsoever...

  • THIS is why PC are better at gaming then XBOX, and other consoles.

  • @Fatgnomeable They have the same graphics... =p Consoles might even be better with the nicer TV's and the HDMI cables and what not.

    Microsoft makes Xbox *Cough Cough*

  • @Chrislav7 I know Microsoft makes xbox, but xbox 360`s are running Direct x10.... And if there are coming PCs with Direct x11, then ofcourse they will have different graphics. And the PCs would have better graphics.

  • @Fatgnomeable Right now you are right but what happens when the new consoles come out with the same internals?? Then PC's and consoles are equals EXCEPT they still have the huge ass HD, 3D, 1080i, TV's.

We PC gamers game on PC's for other reasons then graphics. We're gameplay junkies.

Nice discussion but you lost. Drop the shovel and walk away, sir.

  • @Chrislav7 BUT when Direct x11 releases on PC, the Xbox will still have the old Direct x10. Visa Versa.

  • @Fatgnomeable DX9*

  • @Fatgnomeable the 360 is running DX9, not DX10 :)

  • @Chrislav7 Sorry Chrislav7, but PC's will, and always will, have better graphical capabilitys compared to consoles.

Mainly due to upgrade options, an graphics settings, you will never be able to touch a PC's performance in those little boxes you have either :)

  • @DecodeAGamer That is blatantly false information. When the new consoles come out they come out with the most modern technology. That's not to say they are not Quickly outdated, however. When the new Xbox 1080 or whatever comes out it will be the same tech as the best comp.

    regards,

PS. I'm a PC gamer by the way. I don't much care for joysticks.

  • @Chrislav7 it's far from "blatantly false", name me one console, TO DATE, that was more powerful than a PC.

I'll be waiting, and waiting... and waiting :)

  • @DecodeAGamer the only "technology", that would be on par with a decent PC, would be DirectX, 360 and the PS3 both had RAM sure, but not the amount that was acceptable on even an XP based PC.

As for the GPU and CPU, neither of those were as good as CPU's that were out at the time of release.

  • @DecodeAGamer Sir, If you would like to continue a friendly discussion with me its imperative that you read what I say correctly.

I'll repeat myself this once, When a new console comes out it has equal (This means the same) amount of technology as the modern PC of the same time.

Sorry DecodeAGamer, but you've lost this discussion. See you on the other side.

  • @Chrislav7 I haven't lost anything :) again, show me a console + PC spec's from the same time the console was released.

If you knew anything about PC's, at all, you'd know that consoles haven't even touched the spec's that PC users have, higher end that is.

I'm well aware what the consoles have specification wise, but again, they haven't been anywhere near as decent as PC specs.

So, I haven't lost anything, but thanks for trying anyway.

  • @DecodeAGamer I think you need to take a chill pill and do some research, sir =)

Please calm down and do a quick search (google perhaps?) and then get back to me ok? =) Thank you, have a great rest of the day young one.

  • @Chrislav7 I'm sorry, all I'm getting back for "console bullshit", in google, is "they're it r as good as PEECEEZ!", and "young one", really? You're going there up on your "I'm higher than thou" box?

Sorry, but you're still down at the bottom, young one.

  • @DecodeAGamer Our discussion is over.

    Regards,

  • @Chrislav7 Good, kid.

    Regards.

  • can i swim in?! please! :P

  • Im thirsty

  • that 24 second clip was probley like 10 gb

  • @PSNdomgul58 nah 24 seconds * 30fps = 720

    720(p) * 1280 = 912600

    720 * 912600 = 663552000 Bytes

    663552000 / 1048576 = 632.8 Mb

  • i like the part with the water

  • @sapachino hahahahahaa

  • doesnt this water graphic used in crysis photoreal

  • this isn't even a dx11 techdemo... i run this demo on my dx10 card

  • (cough) far cry

  • That have water fluid PhysX simulation?

  • Stupid 'noob' question... but I have Windows 7 Pro, does DX11 come preinstalled...?

  • @ronineditor

    Yes, that sux

  • @ronineditor it all depends on your gpu..

  • @ronineditor DX 11 must be installed seperatly but if you don't have a Radeon HD 5xxx/6xxx graphics card it won't work

  • @MrVeening Ooooohhh, okay... thanks for that... I'll definitely do it then.

  • You don't need DX 11 for it to look like that. Thats part of the CUDA SDK and runs fine on my 9500gt

  • i love how every1s getting orgasmic over water

  • I almost had a heart attack when i saw that

  • Why don't they work on explosions now

  • he's lying to you. he was on a boat and decided to take some video

  • DX10 could easily produce that.

  • @Nintendoguy5794

basically, shutup...dx10 sucks camel dick compared to dx11. DX11 ROCKS!!!

  • @msigt740 But using DX11 to produce water simulation like that by the way of physx or tessellation you would loose more Fps than to have it simulate on DX10 or even 9. DX9 water looks this good on Crysis.

  • @Nintendoguy5794

admittedly crysis water is good but not a patch on that there are by my guess the poly count is at least 50X higher, and sorry about the first comment lol it was mean but still the fact is if no dx9 or 10 game will have water like that because there is no tesselation and the producers would have to spend years rendering a repeating pattern, dx11 makes it an in engine effect that wont repeat itself or take years to be made by pro modellors

  • Fed up now, i want a game which looks like this and the 3dmark 11 video. Stupid xbox.

  • That water is FUCKING nice

  • it looks like jelly uhh

  • Crysis DX10 = this video

  • @Spectrosypher Crysis graphic engine is outdated by now, try metro 2033 to run on max with fps higher then 30 on a 30" screen ^^

  • that doesnt even look like real water

  • @johnykonta57 why are you saying that?

oceans are very diferent in games some are dark and some are light.

its like in real life there are some water diferent colors.

  • @thejoaomagalhaes just look at it. where are the waves. this is obviously an ocean.

  • Meh you can tell it is not really cause of the fact there is no oil floating around

  • Wat! No tsunami?

  • it s very real !!!

  • that water sux

  • did you see the water?

  • this is freakin awesome

  • DirectX14= Real-World Graphics.

  • @wariofan279 not really... maybe particle will be smaller, maybe crysis 4 will be directx 14

  • @quangluu96

And What your Comment is Trying to say is....?

  • oh my god

    ;D

  • culiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • i love the sight of water in crysis.

i have a shitty computer but still its worth having 10 fps on high just to look at the water.

  • @leeoFaaneellii I used to do the same exact thing, then I spent like 300$ on a new power suply and an ATI 5750 HD 1gb card, but then I found out that my only highest setting is just high because I run XP and cant run DX 10 or 11.

  • @leeoFaaneellii True that.

  • this reminds me more some jelly, not water

  • Wow I really feel like a nerd just watching that

  • @joskeeeee lol! :P

  • ATi 4 LIFE!!!!!!!

  • @TheCheapWayGamer i don't get ur comment

  • Nvidia leistet echt ganze Arbeit

  • Even better than real water

  • I want this as a screensaver

  • it reminds me of Directx 10 Crysis water.

  • @ShadowxXx36O this looks much more better

  • it makes it so worth having directx 11 on cyrsis because you see this... =D 3d water...simply amasing!

  • I Have direct x 11

  • @willguitar1000 dont show off man

  • @Renzokkuken08 i do though lol

  • It looks better then real water :')

  • @FAh1en yeah u cant die on that

  • @FAh1en it dont but still nice anyways

  • @FAh1en Everything in the gaming world looks better than in Real life, also my hand looks better in 3D hehehehe!

  • @VaygrX Haha yeah thats true!

    Muhaha epic xD

  • @FAh1en yeah but doest look as 'natural' as real water

  • @Bb0oYaAhH Who cares? If it looks better it looks better.

  • @Chrislav7 well if u want it to look better than real water, u hav to hav physics and all that crap in mind to me it looks like melted jello

  • hey!! why isnt the cruise moving. gosh it looks so kick ass

  • Is that a real footage of an ocean or a dx11 preview?

i bet that if someone make the comparision i cant see which is the footage and which is a preview

  • I acctualy said "wow" at the water :D

  • Please help guys will this run crysis on highest settings

    Intel i5 750 2.66Ghz

    4gb ddr3

    500gb HDD

    1gb ATi radeon 5870 gddr5

    22" LCD

    860wat psu

  • @MisticEditing just about the highest settings :D keep the aa to 4 x since the ati radeons struggle at higher aa

  • Comment removed

  • @lunastwilights what dont u care about

  • @MisticEditing Depends on your resolution, but in general, yes.

  • @MisticEditing probbly i have an average comp with a geforce 220 gt i would look for the crysis demo or something to try it out

ican play at med with 20-30 fps

  • Sorry mate... Nintendo graphics still wins. :D

  • @Freedomfoe07 LOL

  • @Freedomfoe07 lol, PLEASE tell me you're being sarcastic

  • look here NVIDIA got the best graphic cards and its very good( the bad is it too expensive) AMD is slightly less but much cheaper like 50$ less

  • @quangluu96 No.... ati is more expensive

  • @Dogwithagun22 The Radeon 5770 is on par with the Geforce 260 and is like $80 cheaper.

  • @jmrwacko what about the 5970 and the gtx 480

  • nvidia is bull shit and ati is bull shit XD

GMA is the best xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD joke xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

  • @iron888888 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I laughed for a whole minute. XD

I happen to be using Intel GMA 3100 right now. :D

  • @kalbidi dude i am joking xD

  • Are you all stuped or waht this is not the water like in games this is the real you douchebags xDDDDDDDDDD

  • @iron888888 lol noob, its dx11 get some 1337.

  • great this video made me go pee.. brb....

  • °O° WTF?

  • What water is this from? A game? Or other?

  • looks like crysis

  • Any Direct X can do that!

The question is not "Can it do it"

The Question is "Can it do it at minimum 30 fps efficiently on average hardware"

A 1980s computer could do this, but at a rate of 1 frame per day.

  • @ostapslobodian lol 1980s comp at a rate of 1fpd? dude ur overreacting.. 1fpw minimum(frame per week)

  • @ostapslobodian

Err, I'm quite sure this could not be achieved with DirectX older than 9, because their tessellation algorithms are quite wrong for this kind of graphics. It would look choppier. It wouldn't have reflections. It wouldn't move as naturally, and it wouldn't be transparent.

  • @Daputti

anything could do it, it is very possible, the only different is, this direct x can do it all in one punch, and any older direct x would have to do it step by step and it would take ass long, we are talking days for just a few frames.

am i the only one who thinks this water does not look real and does not look good?

best water i have seen was in 2002, in a short cgi film, made with dx8, and it look thousands of hours to render.

  • @Daputti it's NOT possible to do it all at once, as one water, but if the computer worked on it, 1 pixel at a time, pixel #1, 2 then 3, all the way to 1 million or what ever, and save each pixel 1 by one. it would be no problem to make this, you would just been a lot of memory in the 1980s

  • @ostapslobodian

Well, similar kind of water could be made, but just because of simple limitations in the tessellation algorithm, it would be 10 times as choppy. Trust me, I've done my research on this.

  • WOW!!!

  • These effects are already present in CryEngine 2/3.

  • i like ATi, it makes Nvidia PhysX look wicked good......

  • Hey guys is it possible to play crysis on Dx11 because when i installed demo it said I need Dx9 and it installed it does that mean I dont have direct x 11 anymore?

  • NVDIA IS FUCKING LATE, BULL SHIT!!

BUY ATI ! it's better for the price and the Newest technology is comming faster!

  • hahah you tell them :) Ati rulez !

  • Nvidia is shit. Xbox used nvidia and failed, now ps3 uses nvidia and UBER FAILS. NO UNIFIED SHADERS!? WTF!?!?!?!?

  • Yeah man. Time to ''delete'' them (nVidia) .. lol

  • @paulnils

How have either of them failed anyway?

  • Had my 8800GTX for over 2 years now. I see no need to upgrade when I can play the latest games etc without ANY hinderance.

I guess it's preference, you either like big numbers or a decent card.

  • @Stick0rz

Hey, the 8800 GTX, had that forever it seems, still great.

  • ATI already support dx11 whit the Radeon HD 5XXX series. And for a REAL low price. So you GUYS dont understand. F*uck NVidia

  • @ThaMegabit if you've read the archetectural changes in the gtx480 coming out, you'd realize how far beyond it is from radeon and even the geforce 200 series. it might be a bit techy read for some people though.

  • enfermo..........

  • Fake o.O

  • Does Ati Radeon HD4650 support DX11?

  • @ikpakje4 no, only dx10.1

  • i'll head GF100 (Fermi) but that's gonna be expensive based on its specs... jeezz... NVidia could be f'ed up in pricing...

  • @mokiesptc 5-600 dollars isn't harsh pricing. thats always been flagship prices. i paid 500 dollars even when the geforce 3 came out. i paid 500 dollars even with the geforce 6 came out. im expecting that price range, not being shocked by it.. thats always been the case. im sure they will have budget versions based on the architecture for lower budgets

  • really nice

  • WOW THATS SO REALISTIC. I think im going to quit life now lol. Sarcasm.

  • really cool but the problem is I HAVE A GTX 285 AND IT DOES NOT SUPPORT DIRECTX11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow cool.

    thanks guys, really helpful.

  • amazing

  • lol 1 fps in low def

  • Is that in Crysis?

  • no its just dx11 demo (i guess)

  • im thirsty now lol

  • @legomaniacman shut the fuck up its not funny asshole youve been trolled rolled

  • @wtf123456789100 WOOT :D

  • then why the dx11 benchmark works on my

    NVidia 8800 Ultra??? :|

  • Tesselation wont work, neither will other things but most features will work on DX10 cards.

  • oh, ok

anyways tesselation isn't that big'a deal right?

  • Its the biggest feature of DX11, check out the unigine heaven benchmark.

  • ya i checked it, the tesselation doesn't work though i had to see another video to understand what it's about... cool feature... i hope they make nvidia cards to fully support dx11...

  • The next series (Fermi) of Nvidia cards are going to support DX11.

  • til then, nvidia is screwed :3

  • Comment removed

  • @Spellhide gtx480 coming out in march (supposedly, it could be delayed..) are full dx11 support. interesting changes to archetcture as well ( i cannot spell that word)
