Its either the traffic controller is making wrong decision to clear for take off for the other plane or the pilot just ignore. I believe, priority is always for aircraft to land then other plane can take off. As passenger, I have experience this kind of event once at Heathrow (LHR) many years ago. Singapore Airlines was about to land but at about 500 ft from touch down, the B747-400 took off again. Apparently there is another plane which has not enter the taxiway. Great video!

Looks alot longer than an MD-87... and it doesn't have the classic pointed t-tail like MD87's have. Im guessing its a MD-81 or MD-82...cuz you can see the aft galley door on A/C left which SAS MD-87's do not have.

Guys, when I go on FSX the menu works fine, but when I spawn in my aircraft the game just gets extremely choppy and laggy and runs at about only 2 fps. It worked fine until a few weeks ago, I just went on yesterday and it started lagging badly. Anyone know what the problem might be?

@averredude101 It's got nothing to do with my system, yesterday I tried rolling back my graphics card driver and it worked.

Now the only problem remains, that FSX crashes to desktop after 10 mins of playing, I can't beleive microsoft are too lazy to release a patch for windows 7 users

This is why I personally like flightsimX, I can make mistakes and learn from them without getting in trouble, so when I'm flying I can have a little more insight into my actions. In real life, someone would have lost their job from that go-around.

@TheWrestlingrobot No, I ment the pilot of the 737, or the controller will probably lose their jobs. Runway incursions like that are a serious offence, someone "screwed up", the pilots rather went on the rwy without permission, or the controller made a serious mistake. Although the MD 87 pilots would probably be rewarded for making a smart decision and going around, go around's are always a good idea if your'e in doubt :)

Jon, it could have been one of two things. The ATC controller was asleep like you said, its a rainy day perfect for doing that, probably you'll find him with a pillow and a blanket at the tower. Or you have to excuse the Ryanair pilot, for every second he spent stop at a taxi way the company could take money out of his paycheck.

As I was writing this I thought of another, the ATC controller could be a simpatizer of Bin Laden or just a Jerk.

I spent a year working for my local Airport Authority clearing snow of runways/taxiway. Also did bird control and runway inspections. Sometimes the night shift so I can relate to how you feel. I always enjoyed listing to the controllers talk to pilots on the radio or too myself when getting permission to cross a runway or enter one for an inspection.

Your best video in a while jon! This is the best I can remember. But it definitly doesnt look like an MD-87 to me. The MD-87 is shorter and its tail extends higher, like on a 717. Look at a picture of a real one. This also looks too long to be an MD-87.
