  • I found these videos a few weeks ago and I am so thankful! I was baptized as an infant in an LCMS church and have always been thankful for Lutheran theology and always having been in a solid church, but I have been so surrounded by bad theology outside of my church the last few years that I was starving for more than what I was getting. Now I've found this, been reading the Confessions and other Lutheran theology, listening to Issues Etc., and it really is like food. Thanks again!

  • I've heard this objection so many times from Baptist types - that we're teaching salvation by works in our theology of Baptism. Nice job addressing this false understanding!

  • you do so well at articulating the faith, I appreciate it.

  • I also thank you for the Lutherans in Africa update. We have designated our congregation's Mission Festival Offerings for this urgent mission. Appreciated as well the reference to Luke 11:42.

  • The only thing Christianity has done for Africa is increase the spread of AIDS, create mass homophobia, and cause brutal killings of gays and lesbians.

  • Well said, well almost all was well said. "Chicken butt???"

  • This was a complete home run. Thanks again!

  • you said "sweet bippy"! In and of itself wonderful!

  • :O Where is grandpa? Otherwise, awesome. In the top three.

  • I loved the "chicken butt" part, it was....HILARIOUS

  • Continuously looking forward to the the videos.

  • Great video!! Always look forward to more theological studies!!!

  • in addition to your excellent explanation on how baptism is not OUR work: I always like to point out that never once, in any denomination, no matter what their beliefs about baptism, do they allow the individual to baptize himself. No one ever stands in the river, pours water on his own head and speaks to himself the Triune name. Their very practice testifies that baptism is something you receive and not something you do.

  • Gracias hermanito

  • Appreciate the update on what Pastor May has been doing in Africa. Thanks for the wonderful videos you produce
