You are correct when you say that Bush did drive up the debt, but remember, the dems took control of both houses of Congress in '06. Bush did nothing like the Obama administration did in just 3 years. I remember Harry Reid obstructing Bush every step of the way. "DOA" was what he used to say. He always wanted more spending. I'm not defending Bush, I hold him to account for not having the resolve to go toe to toe over the spending provisions.

I treated vets... I know how bad it is....they deserve far better than the VA but ObamaCare brings the horrible experience of the VA to all of us. We have former VA providers in our town and one of my best friends is a former PA in the VA.

You are correct when you say that Bush did drive up the debt, but remember, the dems took control of both houses of Congress in '06. Bush did nothing like the Obama administration did in just 3 years. I remember Harry Reid obstructing Bush every step of the way. "DOA" was what he used to say. He always wanted more spending. Funny you should say that.....I had a long talk with a VA doc on New Years Eve and he is appalled and sickened by what he sees where he works....Don't you see that the gov't screws up everything it touches? We need to stop the blame game and give these vets what they are due. I was never "in country" so don't feel as though I am owed anything BUT there are those who gave far more and deserve far more than the VA or ObamaCare can ever provide.
