I really enjoyed this book, I read it 3 times, I think, but I really don't think it's an adult read. I'd say it's more for teens. And I'm 13.

I thought it was more of a love rectangle...Wanderer-Ian-Melan­ie-Jared. A triangle was a understatement.

Now I really want to read this again! I think I read it back to back when I first bought it. Stephenie Meyer is really talented. I don't care how horrible the Twilight fandom is; I will definitely be watching out for her next novel!

I love your book reviews! I discovered your channel a few days ago and have been addicted, haha. I've been leery about reading The Host, but will definitely pick it up now. Have you read this Shiver series (Maggie Steifvater) or The Dark Divine (Bree Despain)? Could you review those if you have?

I've got Linger at home and will read it and review at some point too :) I've not read the Dark divine... not sure I will. Jag håller med dig. Boken är förvirrande till en början, men efter några kapitel förstår man. Efter att ha läst denna bok två gånger måste jag säga att det är den absolut bästa bok jag läst! Stephenie Meyer är en fantastisk författare, och jag hoppas verkligen hon släpper en fortrsättning!

Excellent review, I am finishing up my Stephen King Under the Dome book and I wanted to check out The Host for a while now, think I just might buy that this weekend…. I’m so glad I found another book worm here on youtube….keep up the good work •*'*•

I am a huge Twilight fan but I also love this book just as much. It's a beautiful world and it is like the Invasion but better. I loved it and I can't wait for the movie. Thanks for your review.

"The Host"! Loved the book. I half expect for someone to pick it up and make a movie. So strange: I was thinking about doing a book review of this the other day, but didn't have the physical book to show at the time. The Host is a little like the movie "The Invasion" in terms of plot, but definitely different when it comes to the details.

I loved the world she created in this book. It's worth the read, definitely. Like you said, it's a lot different than the Twilight series. I enjoyed it.
