Fiddler crabs eat other fish and sometimes other crabs that wash on shore. Its the circle of life. Your fish (Cory Juhlii) probaly died from old age or a heart attack. And the crab was hungary and ate it.
i dont think your crab killed your cory. normally small crabs and lobsters/crayfish will only eat other tank members if they're already dead or pretty much dying and there is no hope for it anyways. otherwise, they mind their own business and clean up scraps left behind by other tank mates.
@andrewnufc1 have you ever watched a crayfish try to catch something? i have 3 fully grown crayfish, and they fail continuously. the chances of them catching a live fish are pretty small. crayfish are very clumsy animals.
@LayZtheSOXROXER i have lost fish to crayfish the crayfish had it pinned down and was eating it alive. the fish was an african cichlid so it wasnt a slow moving bottom feeder. they are prtty slow but are powerful creatures.
thats strange because cichlids are normally very aggressive. i have some big crayfish in my community tank and with my tiger oscar, black ghost knife, gar, and freshwater barracuda. i've only ever seen them eat dead animals or ghost shrimp.

Fiddler crabs are scavengers. They don't kill but eat what they find. That fish was dead beforehand.
