It's the same thing George Lucas did to the Star Wars series. Completely overlooked the story to focus on cool visuals and the result was episodes 1, 2, and 3. If they don't somehow tie into the story of Fable 1 and things like Theresa and her family, or Jack of Blades, or the Heroes Guild then Fable 2 and 3 will be for nothing. They will be nothing more than ok games. That's what worries me about the series. I want so badly for this game to rock, but I am scared that it will just suck.

The Fable series is generally good, but Fable 1 was the best so far and with what they keep promising and the direction they started moving after the first one then Fable 1 will remain the best of the series. They focus so damn much on the game mechanics and coming up with that cool new idea, that the most important aspect gets overlooked. The story; the plot. I mean, what the hell? The storyline to Fable 2 sucked. Fable 1 gave the series a lot of promise, but then they killed it with Fable 2.

this video is truly a master piece. it explains the situation of the kingdom, how desperate people are, child labor etc. with strange symbolism that adds to the dark humor of the game. i deeply respect lionhead studios and i am full confident that this game will be one of the best rpgs
