  • By top, I'm assuming you mean the upper part of the storm? Around 25-30,000 ft. Pretty typical of high-plains storms, since this one didn't have much instability to feed on.

  • so this supercell was only formed by wind shear? not instability?

  • that's a pretty weakly rotating storm though... high base tornadoes are super rare

  • that's some nice crisp, bubbling cauliflower towers there!
