WTF is a ligament strip? that serves NOO purpose! and why are her heel locks one of the last things she does? those are probably one of the most important parts of the tape job! this lady is crazy! no in a good way....
uuh, arent the anchors supposed to be a little lower (just above the 5th metatarsals)? And, dont you always tape from medial to lateral--for anchors and everything else, unless it is an eversion ankle sprain?
hello i'm french football physio , i see this tape , i think there is to much round tape , if you put too much round tape , the blood circulation is less good , and if you make this kind of tape , when you put your foot on the floor , the arches of the foot are compressed .
damn all those guys in flip flops I was loosing my mind. that was nothing but sexy to see his foot get wrap and then the guys in the back ground with flip flops was nothing short of beautiful.
yea, i usually flip the pre-wrap up. i think its easier to handle. =] lady, you look like our assistant trainer. how funny. =] hmmm our taping is much different! wish me luck on my test! we have to tape in 2 minutes or less. ahhhh
i play soccer, and when i tape my ankles, i want to support them adequately, but not use so much tape! i don't want to lose any mobility, and tape gets expensive after a while...
DannyMac, the way she just showed is about the least amount of tape you want to use, any less and there is no real support. you may as well buy ankle braces if you use any less.
She does a nice job with the tape and explaining it...but pre-wrap works without having the adhesive spray, as does covering the ankle with it. it actually helps with the prevention of blisters on the ankle as well. what kind of school is this...college level?

oh wow...i learned a different way.
stirrup, then c-strip, then stirrup, c-strip...do that until ankle is covered. but this way seems so much easier!!!

She is going from medial to lateral. Remember, we're looking at a left ankle.

my instructor showed us to make the stirrups going from the medial side to the lateral side to prevent an inversion ankle sprain.
having the stirrups going medially makes no sense to me. her instructions are weird.
