I does have a zoom while recording. Volume up and down will zoom like it does within the still camera.

Did you check iPhone 4 HD video? There's more quality, more details, more frames per second, more good sound quality, there is "tap to focus"!!!

@PoketCam the samsung captivate also has "tap to focus" and the iphone 4 records at 30 frames per second just like the captivate.
