Friday the 13th is my lucky day of the year too...... unfortunately, I have never been even close to being as lucky as you were this day LOL..... what have you done with the money? :D
At this point, you pretty much have to go to a Wheelmobile event. They go to various spots around the country. Keep an eye on the station that airs Wheel in your area; they'll promote the living daylights out of it when it's in the area.
Ha! Let's see, Wheel's been on in some form for 32 years. They tape 195 shows a year, and need three contestants for each. Even accounting for returning champions, about 16,000 people have been on the show. Why is it so hard to believe that someone's a member of a rather large group?
And what, may I ask, would you consider acceptable proof?
He would be eaten alive on Jeopardy. No offence dude, you kick ass at Wheel of Fortune, but I saw your preformance on Millionaire. You have a quick mind, but you don't recall trivia well under pressure. If you want a quick buck, I would suggest 1 VS 100. The questions are easy as hell, and you can accumulate tons of cash quickly as long as you don't get greedy.
Well, it depends. I can tell you that he is a decent Jeopardy! player, with a legitimate claims to hope. I've seen him play simulations, against some tough opponents, and he's also beaten me enough times for me to form a fair picture. It's been years since his WoF apperances, btw. He's accumulated more knowledge, and is ESPECIALLY impressive in his gamesmanship. And he's REALLY GOOD under pressure, believe me. He's at least as good as some multiple day winners.
It's not that I don't recall trivia well under pressure, it's that I never knew the stuff to begin with. Fortunately, that can be remedied, and I will do that over the next few years, then probably go for J! Believe me, when I get there, I'll be as well-prepared as I was for Wheel. :)
But the problem is when the questions get harder and the Mob is isolated down to the smarter members. The best way to win on 1 vs. 100 is to have very few members getting the question wrong on the first level questions, but as the money tree gets higher, you will get some serious cash, just look at Barry Lander for instance. He has a slow start, but ended up going up to $343,000!
Strange, I had a reply to this composed a few days ago and it didn't show up. First, thanks to all for the kind words. I count the pair of times that I won at GSN's now-defunct Get Schooled Tour, so I've got my total at $114,850. As for my future - I see that's generating some discussion, so I'll reply elsewhere.

There are these little things called "auditions". They can be signed up for on many game shows' websites. There's nothing overly compliated about it.

The government ended up taking about $19,000 of the $78,850. I used the rest to get out of debt and start a new life *far* away from Pennsylvania.

KoachKrab127 3 years ago
It was somewhere in the vicinity of $5000 to California and $16000 to the U.S. So I got to keep almost 3/4 of it.
