That song's hard to play. There are very few vids on youtube of people with intermediate or beginner skill levels. Most of what you see and think is normal is of kids who have 6+ years under their belt. It's damn good for somebody of his skill level.

That was good. You do well by playing all the right notes...you obviously practiced the tabs a lot and for the most part it was clean. One recommendation, work on your bends and swept arpeggios. Don't be afraid to grip the neck to get under the string for the bends, instead of bending the string with your fingers parallel to the frets. Try giving some vibrato when you bend the string in the solo. It's really just left-hand work, your picking hand is great. Other than that, awesome cover!

It's easy to alternate pick this. I pick this entire thing and it sounds fine. I actually find it easier to pick then sweep. There's no need to bar or hold down anything when playing it.
