Well hello from 2010!!! The movie did come in to reality and it actually rocks!!! Even if the takings wern't stellar. IMHO this movie is seriously very underrated!! It was a hell lot of entertaining than almost all of 2010 offerings. Have Mr T cameo in a second movie if it works out!!

I met Dirk at a convention and he said that it got so bad that the two wouldn't talk to each other for weeks at a time - they often had to change the script where the two of them had to interact together. He wouldn't say why so it's well possible it was because Peppard was jealous. From other interviews, it seems Peppard was pretty stubborn and set in his ways.
