i like steampunk and stuff but what i love the most of it besides looking cool/homeless guy is the "i make shit up" thingy btw does anyone know of any project involving amp tubes? just love that shit.
you seem to know alot about this steampunk could you plz explain what it is because it looks very cool and if it is some kind of a movie or video game i want to get it. (plz write back and help me understand)
@m0nxela Hi, I recommend the wikipedia definition. Youtube will not allow me to post a link, just enter steampunk in the wikipedia search window. Think of an alternate reality where Jules Verne had written about historical fact instead of science fiction. Think of what todays tech would look like with Victorian style. Common elements are steam, brass, leather, goggles, vests top hats. corsets, etc.
The higher frequency green photons produced by the stereoscopic emitters on the corners of the glasses result in a beat frequency that is filtered into a scan of the anomaly that is visible when viewed through the amber targeting filter in the right eyepiece. This is well and good except that I underestimated the deleterious effect of the free ion emitter concentrated between the eyes of the user. My vision has returned and the doctor assures me that my eyebrows will indeed grow back.
The operation of the dimensional rift divination glasses is rather simple. When one feels in his/her spirit or has cause to believe that a dimensional rift may be near, the vacuum tube emitter on the the front of the glasses is energized to flood the area with free ions. Contact with free ions causes the rift to glow faint green with a wavelength very much on the low end of what the human eye considers green.
The vacuum tube emitter used for this device was discovered at my local Advance Auto Parts store disguised as a burned out headlight bulb. I was drawn by the latent power of the photonic radiation infused within the amorphous glass sheath. I released it from its disguise to become the emitter you see before you. It is energized with focused imagitrons from my frontal cortex. The requirement for proximity to the brain drives the physical location of the emitter.
My daughter found these Discovery Kids glasses in a thrift store. I repaired a broken wire and installed (3) fresh LR44 batteries. I painted the front black and used gold Rub 'n Buff. I ground the back end off a halogen bulb and used JB Weld to secure it to the frame. I cut a piece of amber acrylic to fit one eyepiece and made cross hairs using black electrical tape and an X-acto knife.
hmm, seems kinda sketchy. the question is do they work? i am a spiritualist, and so are my friends, and we have actually seen dimential rifts, and thsi would be most helpful for what we need if they do work
Ah, you see through my subterfuge! I was purposely vague regarding the details of operation in hopes no one would figure out that they actually do function! As soon as my eyebrows grow back I will install some shielding and try them again! Stay tuned!
