in the setup process you chose component but you cannot get 720 or even 1080 resolution with componet cables. you need HDMI.

there's tons of threads talking about people having trouble reading 'the details' and such. basically there is a lack of 'crisp' line detail which is inherit in standard def tv's. HD LCD is the ideal standard for a gaming tv. You can research it for yourself but it's correct info.

I think there is some charge in it when you first buy it. The controller doesn't come with a charge cable, but you can easily use the one that came with the system, or any other compatible usb cable. I have another one that came with a cell phone.

The problems i've encountered, were my PS3 freezing (2 times only) and the constant problem i continously have is the HDMI, when i select a game in XMB, the screen blacks out after the PLAYSTATION 3 logo, i have to guess the bottons blindly to goto "QUIT GAME" in the PS menu
