Esther Ofarim had (has?) a tremendously powerful voice -I saw them live in the late sixties and her voice almost shattered glass. And this was a great Barry Gibb song, timeless.

Morning of my life was NOT written for the Ofarims! There is an older BG recording [to be found on -Germany only- double album Inception/Nostalgia] from Australia. Nice simple version! There are of course a number of live versions through the years. And there is also an awful [I think!] version on the Melody Fair soundtrack album re-recorded by the BeeGees ...
