@Bradylama I don't think she meant it in terms of mentally challenged children, I took it that she was talking about children who are developmentally fine but do stupid and annoying things and grow up to be people who do stupid and annoying things. I used to take offense at anything that I could read as someone being insensitive to mental illness or disorders because of what was going on in my life at the time, but sometimes you have to take a deep breath and ask yourself if they really mean it.

@rmiller415 That's a familiar argument from history, but did you know that the Supreme Court ordered the sterilization of an "idiot," even though there was insufficient evidence she was "deficient?" Why do we need to sterilize the mentally handicapped? There's no guarantee that the "stupid genes" will manifest in offspring, let alone the unlikelihood of any sexual pairing. It's just cruel and absolutely unnecessary to insist that "social refuse" are removed from the gene pool. It's monstrous
