According to the book "Bridges", by Judith Dupre', C. 1997, this bridge is the longest concrete railroad bridge in the world.

It is the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct. It is nowhere near the town of Tunkhannock.

I am aware of that. It is commonly referred to as the Tunkhannock Viaduct.

(vi not a chicken?) were these former pennsy? or erie?

Thanks! They were built by the Lackawanna, and opened to traffic in 1915.
