@MPW68 Wow... completely forgot that Tennehill was at channel 11 way back. Funny how both Tannehill and Lynch were kind of... blah at channel 11... but after they left, Tannehill to channel 2 and Lynch to channel 4, both got really good. I always thought channel 11 was 2nd rate... and still do. I don't know what it is, but everything they do is just so chee-zee.
Okay ?? I timed the opening clip, which ran from 0:00 to 19:00. I didn't do any editing on the clip. (Heck, I couldn't believe I had this laying on an old VHS tape). LOL I didn't bother checking the actual day the newscast ran, I figured the date was good enough, and I was able to track that down through the story of the plane that caught fire, which I figured that out perfectly as August 10, 1986. (God, I need to get a life). I was only 28 at the time. Wow, I must have been bored to death.
Good to see Adam Lynch again, He and Ray Tannahill use to be the lead anchors on WIIC TV back in the 70's
