  • Could you upload some more practice pad vids? I need another technique to practice.

  • Nice!

  • are you Christian??

  • @eaglekad14 What kind of question is that?

  • DW drums sound amazing

  • No Mics?

  • hey jared, i just got new EMADs coated for heavy and light rock, but the coat is not all the way around the bass drum its only in the middle till where the foam ring holder is, then it stops.is that a normal thing or is it only my head???thanks!

  • the power of ghost notes :D

  • What brand was your first drum set?

  • @pajarillaga1 Mine was a Vintage Pearl, then an 80s Rogers kit.

  • hey jared!! would you suggest a clear or coated head for rock???

  • @237maneater Hmmm...that's a tough one. I play mostly rock and love coated, but most rock players use clear as there is more attack.

  • hey jared!!i love evans!, i started playing a few months ago, i was looking into EMAD coated but then i saw your video about EMAD coated and im like hell yeah!! im going to buy the Evans EMAD coated and Evans EQ3 reso head, just like yours, sooo friggin exited!

  • Great job. There is something i noticed though. You should start practicing on keeping that pulse tight on the high-hat when u do complex fills. If u focus on the high-hat while watching this clip you will notice that you constantly increase the tempo when you do fast rythm fills.

You inspired me to start playing seriously and the most important thing ive learned from watching you is that the best thing you can discover in ones playing is something one needs to work on not something ur good at

  • @Buymedrugswillyeh I agree. Normally I'd practice this sort of thing along with a click. My click was on my phone and my phone was recording/filming :) Thanks for the feedback though!

  • what is the pattern that you are following?

  • Its awesome I almost started playing drum when the "freedrumlessons" site started, and it wasnt long when I saw all the drummers on that web like "they are normal... they are good but normal..." then I learned lots of things playing in bands... then drumlessons came and I saw all the drummers being so awesome... you inspires me, thanks

  • @Kudan26 THIS. IS. AWESOME.

  • Sounds like a 1 mic recording. What happened to all the drum mics? Great playing btw.

  • Hi Jared! do you still use the gibraltar intruder pedals?

  • Dude you are awesome! I've been watching/learning from your videos for a few years and its amazing to watch you improve and implement all those lessons. I'm gonna go practice some RRLLs for the next hour! Thanks! :D

  • @Dayaminlaal Awesome! I'm soooo happy the lessons have been helpful. Happy practicing!

  • ROCK ON MAN! \m/ •__• \m/

  • Good Practice so....do you have this pattern written out?

  • What's that big bell next to your hi hat?

  • @ThexteraDrummer its a big bell

  • @ThexteraDrummer It's a 13" Paiste Mega Cup Chime

  • 0:24 Hey! is that RLRL... or RRLL... ??

  • @voidstuff looks like RRLL

  • @voidstuff RR LL sometimes, then RLRL others :)

  • @jaredfalk aww damn, I meant 0:22. that fill through the toms... I mean. exactly at 0,24 (when you click on 0,24 link it starts at 0,26)

  • @voidstuff That is just a straight double stroke roll.

  • @voidstuff rr ll
