  • nice vid, nice engines. my only minor complaint is the apc style front "interfooler" intake. i never really liked those, there is a more efficient way to deliver inlet air with a velocity stack, but that is only my taste. the white is gorgeous & i kinda even like the other color =)

  • both drivers suck. i own a 1990 ee9 the dutch version of the ef9.

    got a b16a2 with minor mods (skunk2 pro series intake with sk2 68 mm racing tb, js racing whalepenis, supersprint exaust manifold, gt300 catback and a tinustussengas dutch remap) but i does the 1/4 mile in 14.73 and the nordschleife in 9.27 sec. b20 with this kind of mods should be a lot faster hence both drivers suck. nice engine mods thou wish i had the money. and for the owners lose the tupperwhare,better keep it jdm.

  • you do the quarter mile in 14,73 seconds in a -drag strip-, with a much lighter car, as you can see here the slipery road does not allow traction at all in the 1st gear and in the most part of the second gear, therefor the numbers shown for the quartermile are not representative of the full performance capabilities these cars have, not to mention that the b20 set up is meant for higher torque numbers,fact is that these cars would destroy you around the track, thanks for commenting cheers,

    It freakin shows how fast these cars run the 0-400meter. Thats approximately 1320 feet, which is the quarter mile. Both cars ran in the 14's! Thats pitiful. Even I expected the eg to be in the low 13's.

    My boosted ls is in the mid 13's.. so yes, I own and race cars faster than these.

  • If you really hate your country that much to not by "domestic" cars(mustangs, camaro's, Corvette's, etc.) then BUY A SPORTSCAR; ie:a Supra. You can get one for $2-4000, It comes with a turbo, You arent laughed at nearly as much as someone who doesnt have a vtec-ie a V8, and it doesnt sound like shit. It makes no sense to soup-up an economy car.

  • Hey integragsboy you don't know what you are saying. There is No WAY you can do 13s' with a b18 swap. Don't bullshit ppl. Oh a little info on awds' they are good through 1-3 gear maybe. After that the awd works against them due to the fact that it requires more power to move an awd drive in comparison with a front wheel or a rear wheel drive vehicle. And n/a is reliable as hell and can do wonders if the tuner know's his stuff. And drivers are the big part of all this.

  • but if you look at the specs of this set up and the b16b stock, then you see that the b16b is only 10-20hp less even though its only 1.6litters while these cars with the b20 block are 2 litters.you are right. the only difference is in torque. this set up would beat any b16b,b18c at low rpm. these are not my cars, if they where id sell the ek, keep the eg(cause its lighter) and swap the k20 jdm engine.

  • buy the ek9 jdm type R, drive it, you will enjoy the power from 5.5k to 8.2k where the rev limiter is, you could do something about throttle responce at lower rpm (replace the gasket with a thiner one),perhaps send the head to spoon and have it milled for better air flow, i wouldnt go turbo for a million reasons,if you want turbo get a more mild engine, a b16a3 will do the job, a d16z6 will be cheaper to turbocharge , only difference is that single cam works better at low rpm than the dohc b16a3

  • 400 meters in high 14's haha thats garbage even with all those bolt on's and internal work done....you should not be hitting high 14's haha just means the set up's all wrong and a driver issue...plus two spoilers on a EK9 is kinda over kill buddy....greece or not you have no excuse to be rocking that ricer shit.

  • first of all your mother should have tought you not to pop up like a fart..especially when nobody asks you to. now to the point..runing mid 14's(not high-learn how to read) with street tires, and (if you noticed) on the street with a wide corner and not the best traction isnt exactly a representative of both cars capabilities..these cars could easily run high or mid 13's with sliks in a proper drag strip. now as for the hood, if i were running a CR of 12.5:1 and was redlining all the time

  • your arguement isnt valid man. you dont run slicks on the street. any awd turbo car will run fast whether or not its on slicks or radials. pretty much the only way to be competitive is to 1) k swap eg hatch 2.) boost the fuck out of your car to keep up.

    i had a 200whp gutted em1 before my integra and the car was pretty quick and wouldve waxed both these cars up top no problem, but couldnt outrun k series.

  • though mid 13s is what you get when you swap a jdm k20 into an eg , i dont see where you geting this at.. to tune the evo to 11s you need as much money as 2 evos cost. the owners of these civics have invested way less money than as much a half an evo costs. see where i am getting at? natural aspirated +torque+ good acceleratio+reliability+ handling without that much money. i dont own these cars. i would go k24 with k20 head or k20 jdm at the worst if i where to be happy with the acceleration

  • maybe it costs that much to tune an evo from where youre at, but i have several people and friends plus my tuner tunes evos all day and they cost no where near what youre claiming it costs.

    To hit mid 11's in an evo is simple. Boost controller, turbo back exhaust, and a tune. Thats probably 2g's at most. Stock Evos already run 12's maxing out the turbo can net you 11's. its already been done. theres no such thing as torque with NA hondas.

  • to run 11's with an evo you need a little more than 600hp, to get from 280hp to 600hp you need to change way more things than what your claiming. if hate hondas so much and claim they have no torque (which is unfair to say, unless your talking about a b16 engine) then stop buying them, get a fucking evo, jesus man, some people prefer n/a setups. if your car is runing 13s with just a b18 swap i d like to see a video of that,

Even then 13 seconds is fucking slow anyways, but more than enough to wipe the floor with those piece of shit hatches up there. by the time youre down spinning all of your competition has already finished the race down the 1/4. its embarrassing that youre arguing on those hatches behalf. those hatches are slow 14.8 = slow. 13's with slicks = slow.

  • 600hp with an evo you are running in the low 10's. I don't have ANY idea where you get your info but you are WAY off lol. An evo, wrx or sti can make it into the 11's with 400whp trust me I know personally because my 03 WRX run's 11's with 400whp. I am part owner of a 1/4 mile track so don't even try to tell me that you need 600hp in an evo to run in the 11's.

  • I just sold my accord for an eg and k20 swap. The whole car cost me 8k with Kpro and i did 12.65 @ 109mph on track with slick STOCK, and no evo or sti beat me in 1/4. Yes evo is a nice car, but stock it isnt that fast and u wont hit 11s with those minor mods like u said...it isnt that easy to hit 11s...

  • tnx buddy. thats a nice comment. i am a mechanic myself not dedicated on hondas unfortunatly, but i do custom mods and swap engines,solve problems with great success.remember that the itbs will require a reprogrammable ecu,maybe a thiner head gasket to rice CR and will have to experiment with velocity stacks to gain the most midhigh power you can. turbo is good and you can just chip your ecu for low boost, but you need lower CR gasket, maybe a GT28 and a manifold+intercooler

  • i cant understand , how mid 14s in a road instead of a dragstrip, with street radials, is considered "not fast", my opinion is that these cars are fast, being not striped down to reduce weight, with just a b20 block. you know better than me, that had these cars been turbocharged "traction" would be an unknown word for their owners/drivers, these cars are fast and 14secs in the road with just over 200hp is a good time for the 400meters, i think they could easily go to mid 13s in a dragstip

  • my integra with type r internals bolt ons and quaife lsd can go mid 13's down the track no problem but i dont consider it fast... i suppose fast is a relative term, i hold the word fast for supras, evos, stis and what not. id consider my car quick not fast.

  • if supras and evos are fast, what about an f40? a veiron? it is a relative term indeed, see, it depends on what class you are, if these guys had spent 30 or 40k on these cars, then yes, they wouldnt be fast, but value for money, and power to weight ratio these cars are fast. and the diference beetween your integra and these civics is tourque, they have much more of it, so if you go racing in a track with them you wont be able to catch up no matter what, you are heavier and have less torque.

  • because if mid 14 second cars if fast to you, then evos, sti's, s2000's, 350z are like gods. Fast cars on the street are the ones that can pull sub 13 seconds on the strip imo. I have owned several 200whp hondas and while they may be "quick" its no AWD Turbo.

  • Umm...no they wouldn't. Stock STI and Evo's don't run high 14's. They are faster than that. 14sec 1/4 mile is 14sec no matter what way you slice and dice it.
