all wax is applied in the direction of the hair growth. im a licensed cosmetologist. if all of these dumbasses telling u to do it the other way is making u think twice just google it
I am a licensed aethetician. I was trained by european teachers. You can absolutely spread hard wax in any direction. It is a non-directional wax. And the area can be waxed over many times with very little irritation. I do all my brazilians with hard wax because of that. Actually if the hard wax is applied by a professional that is comfortable working with hard wax all the hair comes out in one pull. I have been doing this since 1981.
im a beauty therapist and i was taught to apply in the opposite direction of growth, and then back over again in the direction of hair growth. ALWAYS remove in the opposite direction.
not in the direction of growth? I just bought a hard wax kit and it says to apply in the direction of growth and remove in the opposite direction. I haven't used it yet... do you have any tips before I try it?

this is no good. apply in the opposite direction and THEN smooth over in the direction of the hair growth.
DON"T DOUBLE DIP THE SPATULA!!!
you also should leave a tab on the end you will pull from so that you are picking at the wax as this lady was. that makes it SO uncomfortable!
