Although I was not around in 1954 the music and culture of that time lived on well into the 60's and 70's. and What does Obama have to do with Perry Como? We do agree on one thing allot of the political nuts were not around then including; Palin,Bauchman, or Bush,.....but Pat Bucanan was around. Truman then Ike. Not such a bad history for presidents. Harry and Ike were not nasty with the politics back then. Hopefully we will learn some lessons of consideration form 1954!

This was from a 1 hr variety show, back then, where budgets were limited & vulgarity, as it is "choreographed" today, was not broadcast into our homes like it is today. This "choreography" was very appropriate for the decent values that existed back then. Not to be confused with some of the visual trash on television today.
